In an effort to simplify the RPG, all characters will be available at any age the person that chooses them wishes. However, multiple iterations of a character (Goku, Kid Goku, etc) are not allowed. Once a person has claimed an iteration of a character, that character is now off-limits for all players.

Alright. What we can do then, is finish the other discussions then combine everything that needs a vote into one post so everyone can vote on everything at one time. It would also help make sure everyone sees everything that needs to be voted on.

I think we should seriously consider just locking them out, that saves us a lot of work. We should put this to a vote I think.

Most of the characters from the manga/anime will not be playable. This is because of the current timeline and therefore they may not be old enough to use. All canon characters must be 7 years of age before they are playable. However, some characters may still be off-limits because we have deemed them too important and will need to be able to use them for story purposes. Therefore, we will need a list of every character that includes their current age during the Year 736 and what year they turn '7'. After that list is completed we will then determine who is crucial for story purposes and therefore not playable.

While I understand that making the RPG only original characters would simplify things, I hate locking out characters for no reason that we don't need to use because they are very minor characters.
