I'm not even sure what exact year it was for Mira when she left her time.

She was alive during the war against the reptiles. Age 14 was the last reference to the war. She was 32 when she disappeared. I mentioned her knowing about Frog from Ayla, who was done with her adventures.

That would mean she disappeared between 65 million BC (if she disappeared right after Ayla was done) and 65 million - 18 BC (or 64,999,982 BC, if the war ended when she was 14).

Though if she was 32 when she disappeared, and if she was in 1009/1010 for almost a year, that would mean she's due to be 33 soon. (Her birthday is November 13, though she probably just celebrated it during fall. I can picture, each season, Iokans just having a huge birthday celebration for anyone born during that season.)

I went ahead and put concrete dates down for when it was in each time. I will continue this trend as we time travel in the future, as we are about to make a jump when Chapter 2 starts, which should be this week as Chapter 1 is coming to an end. Also, you can never be too detailed. lol.

Lol.

Random Person: How old are you?
Time Traveler: Well let's see. It's March 3 here, so it is November 20 in my time, so that means… Aw, crap, I turned 25 a week go. *Runs off*
Random Person: Where are you going?
Time Traveler: To buy a birthday cake.

I might be the only one who really cares. I've been told I can be too detailed with my characters. A lot of people forget to age their characters anyway. Knowing the season they are in works. I can estimate from there.

No, because we time travel we don't follow seasons and dates in a linear way. So while in 1010ad at the start it was Spring it's around the same season in 600ad however our next just could be winter or fall, etc. Dates are mostly irrelevant to the way we travel. Basically it's been 24 days since the adventure started at the beginning of Chapter 2. In Chapter 1 it's the first day of the adventure still. The 23 days in between are when all the side adventures took place as at the end of Chapter 1 we will be left in 600ad awhile.

If it's desired I can set an exact date the adventure started and project a date for each time jump as well.

Quick reply. Didn't realize you were on.

Would Day 1 be the start of the year for them? So it'll be Jan 24th at the start of chapter 2?

Lol. I was thinking it was the end of the year, like it is for us, but I realized that there is no reason for it to be the same.

There is a timeline that will be consistantly updated as the main story progresses ( Here ) I took the time to add a total days past in RP to it, though things like seasons and whatnot may different depending on when we arrive in certain times.

Our time is kinda based around the central narrative, in a sense at least. Your RPs don't have to be linear and flow that way, they just have to fit into the continuity of the main story. As it is now after the first chapter of the chonicle there will be a period of a couple weeks where our characters were still in 600ad, all the side RPs take place in that time frame.

I think it's just simply enough to not limit which classes can to do other classes and for the purpose of added customization keep it that way. So dual classes it is. Today is an exceptionally busy day for me but most of this week I'm working half days until the weekend so I'll have plenty of time to get everything rolling on site really well. I will get this in the works and hopefully it will become available soon!

I dig the dual class idea. Less versatility than just being able to buy whatever, but I think too much customization can be a bad thing. You'll either have people picking and choosing the strongest stuff, or being spoiled for choich and unable to choose anything. Dual classing would allow a lot of customization without it going too far overboard.

I have nothing more to contribute, other than to say that by posting this thread I seem to have unleashed a monster. Haha.

Things are sounding good.

New question though. Does the nature of the person limit their class? For instance, within the game, Robo couldn't use magic (at least not officially) because he was a robot, and Ayla couldn't use magic because magic was after her time (though she could apparently transport a dinosaur across time and space in one of her attacks, lol).

We could make a secondary class available at a set level, like 15 or 20 and from that point you can take levels in either class as you see fit. So you could end up like Fighter level 16 / Mage level 4 and be taking skills in each

I like that being able to pick which class you get your stats from. That plus only being able to pick just from those two classes' techs makes it a hard choice. When would we get the secondary class?
