Erlein felt the airship yawing and correcting itself as he got to his feet, he wondered what kind of perpendicular winds were gusting across the deck, something told him he would find out soon.
” Guess we better head topside and take a look.” Erlein said to the others as he was gathering his pack and heading towards the door, bracing himself against the wall as he walked.
Upon exiting the barracks Erlein looks both ways down the connecting corridor, trying his best in his groggy state to remember they way they had come in. Deciding he had it figured out Erlein took his turn and make his way back through the dining area and once he found the right doorway, up the steep steps towards the deck. Reaching the door, Erlein pushed and felt the wind catch the door and pull. He held firm, and with a tell tell look or uneasiness back to the others he stepped out onto the deck of the airship.

He was aware of the mist almost instantly, it was humid and the light from the morning sun was refracted through the dense like fog. Visibility was low and the wind was indeed strong, whipping at his clothing from the starboard side of the airship. There was much activity on deck, hands running through the dense mist with ropes, some pulling, others tying. It was quite the effort he thought. Erlein had a flashback from two days prior, the Garuda hiding in the mist. He shivered, wondering what else was lurking out there just out of sight.
” Seems like this is going to be a rough ride the rest of the way.” Erlein muttered to himself and the others, his eyes looking ahead through the mist for any signs of the Iifa Tree.

Frantz had not been aware of how hungry he was until he looked down at the three now empty plates in front of him. Similar to his hunger, it was not until he was reminded of rest that he realized how long it had been since he had slept. "Nothing better than some sleep after a great meal." Frantz said as he stood up and followed the crew towards the shared living quarters. He picked one of the beds and laid down as the itis kicked in after the long meal. His last thoughts before drifting off was a reminder that he was airborne even though the ride was so smooth.

The soldier within Frantz caused him to wake up immediately following the knock on the door and was on his feet at the first indication that they were arriving at their destination. Though he had become more comfortable, Frantz was ready to get off this airship and back onto solid ground. With spear in hand, Frantz followed behind Vivi towards the door.
With full bellies and a renewed sense of vigour, the party's spirits seemed to have grown. However, with full bellies, comes sleepiness. With perfect timing, the soldier that had escorted them down here spoke up and told them about their room that had been prepared for them. Apparently, many hours separated them and the Iifa Tree and so Vivi was looking forward to some rest. Erlein quickly agreed to get some rest and Vivi quickly followed.
"Me too," Vivi stated, shifting his body to the side and hopping off of his chair. He picked up his staff and followed the group to the barracks room. It was a decent enough size. It had six beds spread throughout it with trunks at the foot of them for storage. Vivi made his way over to a far bed and set his staff inside the trunk.
Vivi climbed up on the bed and sat there with his feet dangling off the side. The past day and a half flooded through his mind, from the Alexandria to the mighty Zu that they fought and the Roo that brought them here. It had been quite a busy time and things were only going to escalate from here.
With that, Vivia brought his feet up and turned and laid down upon the bed. It seemed like only seconds has passed when Vivi had the voice at the door, letting them know of their imminent arrival. Slowly, Vivi raised up and hopped off the bed. The chest creaked as he opened it up and grabbed his staff and walked towards the door to leave the barracks.

A low growl came from below the table as Frantz caught a wiff of the food and saw the chefs come into the room. Frantz was too engulfed in the smell and the thought of food that he did not notice the head chef come into the room until the Qu approached the table and Vivi. Instictively, Frantz went to reach for his food thinking the creature was trying to steal it due to the sight of its tongue hanging out. It was not until he heard Quina address Vivi that he notice the chef's outfit and realized this must have been the chef that the Reagent was talking about. Frantz did his best to play off his shock by grabbing his silverware and began eating. Shrugging his shoulders at Erlein's question, Frantz spoke between bites, "Not sure....Who's your...friend Vivi?...They sure know...how to cook." The chef may have been a little shocking, but cooking food like what Frantz was eating made him glad they knew Vivi.
Sure enough, the doors from the kitchen swung open and a line of men paraded through it, carrying various trays of food.
Frantz smiled as the party was immediately brought down to where the food would be served. As he traveled deeper into the ship, Frantz felt more of his worries go away. The size of the ship caused him to feel like he was inside of a building and not into a form of transportation. This illusion dissipated for a moment as the ship rocked as it took off towards the Iifa Tree, but the airship moved so smoothly that he was able to remain calm and composed. "You said it, Vivi. I'm wonder what the chef has made for us." Frantz looked around as he removed his lance from his back and leaned it against his own chair as he took a seat with the rest of the group.
So, Vivi stepped in line and followed the rest of the party down into the bowels of the ship. At first, things seemed a little cramp as they passed through the corridors, but as they reached the bottom, the airship sprawled open. A massive room lay before them with tables and chairs arranged, no doubt for their pleasure. The aroma of food wafted throughout the room, the kitchen must have been adjacent. As Vivi looked around, the Soldier that had led them down announced that the food would be served shortly and that they should take their seats.
As if by miracle, Vivi's spirits had lifted at the thought of eating and resting before their long journey. Quickly, he made his way over to the table and hopped up into the chair, laying his staff to lean up against his chair.
 "Let's eat!" Vivi exclaimed.

However I'd be willing to RP with you solo, perhaps Griff might even join for something else not FF9.
The passageway down was tight but soon opened into quite a large room with tables and seating all around. The aromas of foods drifted all around them from the nearby kitchen. There was much activity around them, people running back and forth and not even realizing it until a moment later Erlein felt the ship rock and shack briefly as it took flight.
” Please everyone take a seat, the cooks lead by our amazing chef have almost finished and will serve you soon.” The soldier said as he waved his arm inviting the group to choose anywhere to sit inside the large galley.

Frantz stood looking at the airship in wonder and felt most of his worries fall away. Compared to Erlein's ship, it seemed odd to even refer to this as an airship. It was on another level and seemed to be built more secure than the ground Frantz stood on now. Their trip to the Iifa Tree seemed like it would be much safer than their trip from Alexandria Castle to Treno, something Frantz looked forward it. "At least we are as prepared as possible with this airship." Frantz could tell Erlein was impressed by the airship which spoke volumes for how far above it was all other airships, but something about Vivi seemed off. Frantz hadn't been around the black mage for long enough to understand his unique body language, but it seemed like he might have been looking down a little more than usual. Frantz wished to reassure him, but hesistated as he felt his stomach start to rumble, "That reminds me. Where are those personal cooks?"
