Aurora had a wonderful childhood growing up in the quiet, tranquil village of Kalm. Her mother was a seamstress who went on to begin her own fashion label and sold her clothing across the globe. Her father was a stay at home parent and Aurora had an incredibly tight bond with him, as well as her older brother, Arkeus. 
It was obvious that Aurora had a natural attunemnt to the planet and was more magically able than most humans. When using Materia, the spells that she expelled were much more potent than normally able for a human. Her parents were concerned she was somehow linked to the Ancients but after numerous testing she had no linked ancestry.
When Aurora was fourteen, her father was involved in an accident and was completely paralysed. For the next two years, Aurora acted as his career whilst her mother continued with her fashion line and her brother went to work for Shinra.
Her father was no longer the man she remembered and he wanted to end his life. Aurora could not do it but after many months of thought, and seeing her father suffer so horribly, Aurora eventually euthanised him.
Nobody knew. Everybody thought it was just his body giving up on him and his time to go. She kept it a secret but felt incredibly awful.
Arkeus moved up the ranks of Shinra quickly and was able to live in the upper parts of Junon. When Aurora turned 18 she moved to Junon with her brother and worked in her mother’s clothing shop there.
One evening, she was introduced to Rufus and she found his charm and influence so incredibly attractive that she fell for him. They had a brief romance; one that Aurora thought would last forever. However, Rufus had simply used her for his own amusement and soon cast the fling aside.
Aurora was upset but she did not let it get to her. Then, just several weeks later, her brother was found dead in the Sector 6 coliseum. He had died fighting for money. Aurora knew her brother would never do something so stupid and refused to believe the story she was being spun.
After further investigation, she found he had been killed in an accident at Shinra. She was certain Rufus had something to do with it.
She bleached her dark brown hair to a light blonde and infiltrated Shinra HQ in order to finally find out the truth. 
 
Limit Breaks:

L1: Ray of Judgement - single target non-elemental damage
L2: Healing Wind - restores 75% max HP to all party members
L3: Planet Protector - restores 50% max HP to all party members and casts a shield on all reducing damage by 50%
L4: Sorcerous Storm - deals AOE Lightning damage to all enemies
L5: Invincible Moon - deals AOE non-elemental damage on all enemies and casts regen on all party members

Arcane Ward - Aurora is able to cast a ward on the ground that covers 5m around her allowing all party members inside to cast 2 spells at the cost of 1

Magic Pistiols - these release a magical bullet that causes magical damage similar to Aerith's magical staff attacks
