My favorite show of all time. Let's talk about the final season.

In full agreement here. The cliffhanger for the last episode has me riled up. I plan on re-watching it all before April or May when it comes back.

Yeah man, I'm not going to rewatch it all but I can't wait for the final eight episodes. I can't wait to see how they end it.

Yeah, I really don't think they have a capacity to make it lackluster. The show is the closest thing to perfect I can possibly imagine.

Oh yeah, it will be great, best show I've ever watched. I just can't imagibe Walt getting out of it all alive, I think they have to kill him.

Recall the first scene from episode 1 of season 5, where he's at the diner…And then it cuts back to “present day.” I don't think that's how the show will end, but I'm curious to see how they're going to get to that point. And then what happens after.

They haven't announced yet exactly. They've just said “summer.” So I'd bank on June or July. Luckily, we get Game of Thrones in March, Mad Men in April, and Arrested Development in May, so there's plenty to keep me entertained.

I'm not into Game of Thrones, and I still haven't started Mad Men, which I plan to at some point. Last season started in June so I have to think it will be around the same time. I hate that it's ending, but man are the last 7 episodes going to be a ride.

Yeah I think it is 8 as well now that I think about it. I expect it to be one hell of a ride, I'm still pretty confident that many of them will die.

Auguest 11th is a little later then I was hoping for it to start. I have a feeling that it was pushed back so The Killing could run it's full third season in that Sunday 9pm time slot. That's alright though, I like The Killing a lot as well.

Yeah, I was expecting a July release, so it was sort of bad news to hear that. However, I think I can manage the wait. I still have Game of Thrones, Mad Men, and a new season of Arrested Development to watch between now and then.

I had a hunch it was gonna be a later release when the week before they annouced Aug. 11th they annouced the Killing was returning June 2nd. which put exactly 12 weeks in between it and Breaking Bad lol.

It actually works in my favor, as I plan to re-watch the entire series before it premieres.

My time is to limited as it is to rewatch an entire series like that, so I'll just rely on my memory to kick in. lol.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just finished it and its as awesome as everyone says. I had gotten to season 2 or 3 my first run, but started over. I really like switching between that and Malcolm in the Middle since I watched it on Netflix. Funny to see him play such different fathers and still be very good. One thing that always confused me and maybe I missed it, but I think season 2 or 3 they have these scenes in the beginning with the stuffed animal in the pool and a hazmat team bagging different items. I don't remember that happening ever, but otherwise I like how they did the time jumps from time to time and some seem so random sometimes. It made it really be about the journey. One minor character really jumped out at me and it was Todd. Idk something about how he seems like such a nice and caring guy and in an instant will shoot a kid, no hesistation. Walt is one of the coolest characters ever simply because of his intelligence. Though he probably spawned myths somewhere that meth fumes can fight cancer. I can see some stoners watching it being like see he makes meth cancer goes away he stops and its right back. Gus was cool too, very similar to Walt in his evolution. Probably wasn't an accident that both got into their worst situation wanting revenge and jumping to conclusion.

There are two things I wish would have happened. Gale lived. I know he had to go, but he was like the most passive guy anyone could create. Marie died. I hate that bitch, specifically women like her. Hating Skyler for keeping secrets about Walt when she stole the gift for the baby shower and getting mad at her for trying to return the worse gift in baby shower history. Those type of women, and I'm sure there's some men like that too, really piss me off. I wished she would die the entire series. Even if it was some stupid shit, I wouldn't have cared. People like Hank piss me off too. The creator did a really good job with the character design. Diversy and very life like.

Hell yeah. The show's characterization is definitely among the best in TV history. I think overall, Mad Men's might be better, but Breaking Bad is still a better show.

Oh yeah, especially by season four. There is a lot to be said about the strength of Breaking Bad, and not just in the writing and character development departments. I was immensely impressed with the camera work and overall cinematography in season four and five, especially season five. Some of the lighting and staging in season five were amazing, really set the atmosphere for those intense scenes and did a lot to help convey that intensity. They had really upped their game by the final season, and I would say no other TV show has hit that level.
