Went with some friends to see it tonight. Go there about 7:10 (starts at 7:30), thinking we didn't need to be there early … and it's fucking sold out.

That doesn't really mean much considering how often you talk about torrenting stuff. XD
I really enjoyed it, myself. Was a lot of fun in a theater setting, and I think watching it in Japanese would take a way a lot of what was enjoyable outside of the fighting. You'd never get the full effect of the jokes by just reading them.

I dunno, I doubt the jokes were any funnier in English. Also I was very unhappy with the CGI used through out the film, it looked disjointed next to the traditional animation… it looked like Budokai or something. I found Lord Bils to also be pretty un-interesting and the attempt to add to the DBZ Mythos with a “God of Destruction” made an already convoluted concept of Gods and creation in DBZ even moreso. This seemed like a cash grab.
