So as the title says, I'm looking for games with summons like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. If anyone knows of any please let me know.

For what reason? If it's for “inspiration” I can sort of understand it, but if it's just to play them…that's probably not the best way to decide what games to play lol.

Summons has always been my favorite aspect of final fantasy or really any game. It is kind of for “inspiration” but mainly to check them out. Just having summons isn't a good reason to play, yes, but its certainly a good reason to check it out.

It's not something that's been brought into many games. Outside of FFs (KH is lumped in with that because FF is half of it's makeup). You can kinda consider Pokemon and other capture monster style games in the same style. Probably all of these link back to DQ5 first.

The DQ Joker series is good, but even the game know the story sucks so it's somewhat entertaining in a way.
