So the 10 year anniversary of FF7 Fortress is coming up in a little under 3 months from now and it kinda got me thinking that I'd like to do a small FF7 RP thread here kinda like or little DBZ RP. If I could get 2-4 more people who would post with me we could have some fun. Anyone up for that?

Alright, well basically if I can get some contact info from clerith (some sort of IM prefered) We'll just go ahead and get this started and hopefully I can find one or two more to join us. I'll keep you guys posted.

I guess now before we start we need to discuss what timeline we want to RP, and if we want to RP characters from the game or originals or both, etc. You two have any preference? I'd like to play something pre-game timeline, but I'm open to post game as well.

Well basically we could pick a time before the game where most everyone is alive and RP an alternate history with those characters (be it not long before, when Zack and Cloud escaped the lab, or even before that) or we could go and do a post game RP that wipes away what Advent Children was,

Yeah I have some ideas for both, If we did a story before we could RP more finding out about Shin-ra and everything they have been up to. If we did a story after it would be more open to what we could do.

I think that's were I'm leaning towards as well Cooler, that's what the storyline for Fortress was and so I kina just want to revisit some of the ideas I had wanted to use there and never got a chance to. So Clerith if that's cool with you we can decide who we're playing and I'll start the thread.

Ok, since we all agree about the setting I think we can get started. I'll be DMing the storyline and playing Cloud (among other NPCs and characters as needed) I'm completely open to you two playing characters from the game if that's what you want to do. I will get the first post up today or tomorrow depending on how long it takes me to work out where I want to start the story.

I was wondering what kind of materia/weapon/abilities Avelia could begin with and how strong our characters will actually be. I'd like her to be adept at curative and supportive magic, maybe having Restore, Revive and Heal materia, as well as Barrier, Time and Sense? Perhaps a couple of summons too

Since I'm going to focus on elemental magic, I want to start with at least Fire, Ice, Lightning.
