The last novel I read was called 'Easy Go', by Michael Crichton writing as John Lange. He wrote it (along with several others pulp novels) before he was famous as a writer in the late 60s. It's a general pulp novel format, was a quick read, not literature by any means but fun. The plot revolved around a group planning on robbing the last unfound Egyptian tomb. It was alright though not on par with some of his novels from the 70s and 80s.

Aside from that I've been reading some Philip K. Dick novellas and short stories. Read Second Variety today (the novella that would be adapted into the b-flick Screamers) It was a quick fun read. 

Not sure what my next novel will be, I'm thinking about reading this Ray Bradbury paperback 'The Machines of Joy' that I picked up at a thrift shop the other day, as I'm pretty fond of the 2-3 novels of his I've read.
