Too late. They're still the company that tried to fuck everyone over, and they'll always be that company.

I wouldn't put it past them to impliment their DRM in as little as a year after the console launch. They're just trying to play some damage control right now in order to shift more units. Any moron that falls for it is going to be in for a rude awakening when MicroShit requires it in the future and there won't be shit they'll be able to do to stop it.

Apparently Microsoft is removing the DRM and all other policies that has been putting Xbox in a negative light. Nothing has been confirmed yet just rumors for now.

A little tidbit I read today. Microsoft blocked comments on their official YouTube channel because they were getting so much negative feedback. That is not a good sign, and silencing the users isn't going to make it any better for them.

Yeah they finally released some details on that, since it sounded pretty horrid. Somehow they actually managed to strike a deal with Gamestop that when Gamestop sells a used Xbox One game, they get a cut from that. I guess by telling Gamestop "If you don't do this, none of the used games you sell will work" or something probably made the point. That's good at least, though I still don't like the sound of all of this and the fact that every game has to be tied to a username and all that. And the online requirements.

However I see this probably being favorable for hackers, I'm sure they'll find a way to edit those encryption codes so that all you have to do is rent a game, plug in a fake code or some shit and return it and poof no need to spend a day or two downloading 30-40gb to have a full game.

I'm just surpised Nintendo has fallen off so bad so quickly, I mean the Wii has sold 90 million units, how is it that they could ruin that goodwill so fast? They need to get some of their big gun franchises out on the Wii U and fast or they risk allowing Sony and Microsoft to launch, probably both in November, and grab hold of the console market instantly.
