Wind Arrow: Riku gathers wind around his shakkou and sends wind spiralling around into the point towards a target. Riku has able to plan a trajectory for the arrow, but can not control it once released. Riku can split the wind into three separate attacks slowing the speed and effectiveness of each attack. One used as one attack is about the size of an arrow and once separated becomes the size of darts.

Wind Restraints: Riku summons the winds to restrain an opponent's ankles and arms. The restraints can only be used on enemies already injured and can be broken by trained opponent's, but would slow their movements while they break the bonds.

To start things off I think we should all work on character profiles (I can make a form if you want or we can all just do this on our own to better individualize our characters). That will give us all a better understand of our own characters and the other characters. I also intend to add profiles for NPCs as the turn up, as this being a highly political tale will have a lot of webs of connection between them, it will help us keep track of some of these connections down the line. 

Aside from characters we also need to start defining places, magic, combat styles, and other things that are important to the story as we introduce them. As far as the main narrative goes I have a pretty good idea of the story I want to tell, which I sorta setup with that prologue I posted back on the main forums (I will copy+paste that here shortly.) I'll go ahead and post a little extra info here that I defined to setup that backstory.

There are six powerful clans that have for over 100 years been vying for power since the fall of the last Shogunate. Over those many years some have grown in influence while others have fallen, some times more then once. Those six clans each have a ruling Daimyo...

The Clans:
+ Tokugawa Clan ~ Status: High Influence ~ Daimyo: Tokugawa Azai (Soon to be made Shogun)
+ Fujiwara Clan ~ Status: Medium Influence ~ Daimyo: Fujiwara Makino
+ Otomo Clan ~ Status: Low Influence ~ Daimyo: Otomo Tadaaki
+ Masumae Clan ~ Status: Medium-High Influence ~ Daimyo: Matsumae Kobekawa
+ Shimazu Clan ~ Status: Low Influence ~ Daimyo: Shimazu Makino
+ Uesugu Clan ~ Status: High Influence ~ Daimyo: Uesugi Oda

I will soon get a basic map together of their land holdings and with some help from you guys it would be fun to build a timeline of the past 100 years or so, major conflicts or other areas of importance that lead in shifts in power and the changing hands of land. This will help build up some history between the clans and help define their perspectives.

The other major thing I want to talk about is the 'taint' which is the source of all Oni and evil influences. I haven't worked out too much history but there will have had to been a past history with the taint and it's powers spreading through Japan, it would have been defeated or so it seemed at the time. The taint is going to be an underlying theme of this RP and it's effects will grow over time.
