this pages is for custom techniques that are made specifically to be used in the chronicle for chronicle npc’s and villians. as techniques are used in the chroncile thread they will be added to this page for reference by the players.

a basic samurai technique, the user of the sword thrust takes his blade and thrusts it forward at his opponent hoping to impail and kill. ( roll on body table for where the thrust lands on the body (damage = normal damage x1.25)

the master technique of a long forgotten sword style known as the jigenzan-ittou-style. using his mastery of the sword rai-dei forcefully creats a sonic blast which strikes all opponents in combat, all opponents get the normal physical attack dodge attempt. (damage = strength x2 – vitality)

the most powerful technique in the higenzan-ittou sword style, even more powerful then the sonic slash. rai-dei uses his mastery over his specialized weapon to create a localized sonic thrust which only strikes one opponent in combat. opponent gets normal physical attack dodge attempt. (damage = str x2.5 – vit)

using the same specially created rollers rai-dei can swiftly attack his opponent, negating that opponents normal physical attack dodge attempt, this attack can be dodged with roll dodge only.

hidden in the hilt of rai-dei’s katana is a rifle which holds 6 rounds. built near the top of the hilt is a small trigger that when pulled fires a 5.56x45mm round. this attack is used in a combo that begins with a nromal physical attack (roll like sword thrust for landing spot) if the attack is sucessful rai-dei pulls the trigger and fires a round into his opponent (undodgible). damage = str – vit + bullet damage.

gofsef nebraska, a massive mutant cyborg is almost completely invulnurble to damage from bullets and blades, when struck with a bullet or blade the massive mutant only takes one damage from each strike no matter what the calibur or blade type. grenades are also much less effective and only do 1/4 the damage the would normally do. (this technique is always active)

being a thirty four foot high mutant, gofsef has the ability to physically stomp on his opponents if they are within reach. (damage = str x2, like with the hard punch attack, opponent gets the normal physical dodge attempt)

g r a p p l e ›› ( lvl 1 ) ›› skill points: — )
if gofsef can grab hold on one of his opponents he can cause extreme damage to them, when commanded gofsef will randomly attempt grab one of the people he is fighting. (gofsef must outroll opponent to grapple, no tech dodges work, character can still use guns while grappled, allowing an attack, even though they cannot escape)

after having grappled an opponent, gofsef can then throw that opponent to the ground, or against a building or many other surroundings causing a massive amount of damage to his opponent. (damage = str x2.5, if you can roll under 5 on a d20, you negate the damage and manage to land safely)

h a r d  p u n c h ›› ( lvl 1 ) ›› skill points: — )
when commanded by his father, gofsef will fire his massive right arm projectile which will destroy almost anything it smashes into, and then be returned to his body via the wench that gofsef wears on his back. (damage = str x2 damage, character gets normal physical dodge attempt)

the true strength of the prosthetic creature is it’s ability to reform and restore all of its hit points after being defeated. (when creature is KO’d it will begin to reform after one rounds, after one more round it will have restored all HP lost and be able to fight once again.)
