I've been doing some tweeking around the site today. One thing I did make sure to do was add WoH back to the homepage (in place of DBZRF) so we can better keep track of activity here. Unrelated to WoH but worth mentioning I cleaned up some of the code for the login/tool bar so it stretches with the group style container now, also did some cleaning up of code on the what's new page.

Just some notes for changes to the battle system.

Starting Action reduced to 1.

To simplify things, a standard, non-ability, attack is a three hit combo. M-combo plus isn't a thing anymore and combo plus just add an additional action. (I'll change any abilities along the way)

Changes to RP tools: Remove agility. Standard crit chance change to 5%, tier 2 to 10%, and tier 3 to 20%.

Custom abilities are of course allowed, just use currents as examples. I also may change things as we go on the make sure it's balanced.

Gains will not be based on words, just gains at the end of battles and chapters.

History remains the same except for the final Midgar aspect.

I added a post going over some of the changes and how I'm accepting bios. Midgar is also up now. I put the XP chart up, right now it shows to level 40 so will be good for a while. Also added the AP system to that page and so it's easy 1 AP and 1 Heart Strength are the same amount of words. AP on abilities will need to be redone because as of now they are far too low. Also, I'm going to be reducing the number of pages under Rules. Thread Types will go on Site Guide and Status Effects should be able to fit on the Battle Page since it will be simplified. Finished those two pages and went over Heart Page. I'm going to need to add the two keyblader traits to the trait page and fix the starting keyblades according to the new stat system. The Battle Page may seem a little longer, but at the very beginning of the page is all the formulas shown I hope very easy. The rest of the page is about turns, actions, how they can use those actions, and finally the status effects, but it's just content no formulas.

You should update the mainpage with this info regularly. People hit the site and see your main posts page first a lot of times. If there are no recent updates there they might just keep going! I try to post on CT every week.

Few updates. I finished all magic and went through the entire armory and changed it around. It's not as uniform as it was before with each set having different number. This alos helps with synthesis recipes as well. It's balanced by the munny cost being directly related to the stats added. Talents are also done except for the keyblade stuff. Keyblades will require a good amount of Heart, the trait, and a quest. Abilities are done as well. I'll try to finish synthesis tomorrow. I also may have gotten someone to make the FF7 planet for the universe page which would be awesome. Once synthesis is done, advance races will be the only thing I'll have to really work on. The rest is just word content which is easy.

To Do List: May seem like a lot, but most are small things.

Classes: Done (Edits may come later though)

Abilities: (Done)
- Look over the abilities and see what need to be removed (Advanced abilities as well)
- Rework abilities to new system.
- Custom Abilities removed for now until a system for it.

Magic: (Done)
- Spells changed to fit new system, probably static number.
- Entities of Pure Magic removed instead FF summons will be in summon stones.

Armory: (Done)
- Weapons, Armor, and Accessories redone (Won't be as cookie cutter as before)
- Items changed as well, potions and stuff being a static amount. (Kept them %s works better)

Synthesis: (Done)
- Numbers changed.

Creation:
- Traits need new numbers and need to be looked at. (Done; Just need to at Keyblade stuff)
- Basic races changed to a basic choice. (Done)
- Advance races redone. (Done)

Universe: (Done)
- 1 FF planet added.

Rules:
- New Battle System Page (Done)

The traits page has been finished and added under creation. More may be added or changed a bit, but for the purpose of creation it is set. All chosen get 1 trait to pick from the list so feel free to pick one. If your bio has been approved, feel free to roleplay while you decide. Right now I only see organizations and a little intergration of the new changes and it will be completed and I'll start advertising. I hope roleplaying between us here can get starts for when I advertise.

Some more updates that will be taking effect shortly. After talking to Fevian and Dystopia, I've decided to change traits up and remove subraces. Traits will now be picked by the chosen and they will be able to pick a new trait every few levels. There will be a list for chosen to pick from. Lydeck and Clerith, you can still play your characters as you would, you will just get human stats and AP cost less. Sorry for the inconvience. The term role will also be removed completely. Instead everything roles do will be under advanced abilities just to make things simplier.

Once you start really advertising you're going to get a solid influx I think. Looking at your traffic you have been steady even without it, just gotta get things all settled and get some of those eyes on the site to register. Having some RPing going on will help, we need to get a nice open RP going or something.

So, things have been going slow, but I'm continuing to do work and with the two new members we should be able to get some stuff started. The site still has some stuff that needs to be finished and I'm holding off advertising till then, but I'll let the people who's here know whats new. It's been pointed out that it's a little complicated so I've been simplifing some stuff. First, roles have been changed to just two pages will retaining most of the info. I changed most of the racial advantages and changed how symbol of power works to remove %. Had to take out symbol of weakness cause I couldn't figure in a use for it without %s, but KH2 didn't have it so it works out. The term augmented stat is taken out and tasks, quests, and missions is now just quests with types to denote these types. Traits that increase stats from classes have been removed to further simplify. There's still some work that needs to be done, but it's coming together. I hope to continue the event now that we have some new members and should have the rest done shortly.

Oh hey, dystopia was telling me you were asking about WoH. The forums have no spell checks, as far as I'm aware. The chatbox I'm not sure, but I'll talk to dystopia. http://dystopiapro.com/eternalgaze/chat/ We have the chatbox and a general chat. Right now we're sharing one, but WoH will be receiving one as far as I'm aware. Will also be getting a new design, skin may be the word, as far as I'm aware as well. I'll be in there.
