Ichii met each of Eijiro's punches with one of his own. Electricity arced down Eijiro's arm as each strike seemed to cause the demon's arms to become more and more rough. A punch got through Ichii's defense hitting the right side of his cheek. Blood splattered out from his mouth. Ichii dropped low in response as a punch went over his head. Ichii concentrated on moving his energy into his right fist. Electricity intensified as a straight right punch went for Eijiro's chest.

Case One: Demons Abound |

Eijiro began to become more and more frustrated as each of his attacks were met by one of Ichii's. As the electricity ran through his hands, they became harder and harder. The stiffening of his skin spread further and further of his arms as he attacked. Each attack became more sluggish and attacks had less flexibility.
Eijiro felt like he had won when his fist found purchase on his opponent's cheek. His rushed his next attack hoping for a follow up only to find air. Before he realized what happened, electricity was surging through his body and his body was flying through the air. Eijiro hit the side of the truck hard and slumped to the ground, unmoving.
Goki chuckled at Koichi's response as he bared his fangs in a twisted smile. He tried to keep a confident air of him, but his eyes remained on the energy sword. The spirit detective wasn't much for him physically, but that weapon worried him. As Koichi shifted by the bumper, Goki tried to regain his balance, but his missed attack had him reeling. Goki struggled to keep his eye of the sword, trying to keep himself safe, but was not expected the sudden rush. Goki's legs flew up into the air as he fell down onto his ass then his back.

There was a loud and pronounced thud as Goki hit the hard concrete ground of the warehouse. Koichi sensed that momentum was for once shifting his way, and had seen the way the demon had watched his reiki blade. There was fear, and where there was fear there was also a chance for victory.
” It's time for us to finish this, no more fun and games! ” Koichi shouted, knowing that Ichii would hear him and hopeful that he too would be able to put up the effort needed to finish this fight.
Planting both feet in the ground and letting the rippling blade of his spirit sword vaporize, Koichi extended his right finger pointed at the prone Goki, and and with a firm grip from his left he braced himself and feeling the energy surging within him he focused it how he had been taught, the tingle growing to a huge pulse at the tip of his index finger. Closing his own eyes from the brightness of the light as he released the spirit gun with a a blinding flash. Koichi took a deep breath and waited for the smoke and dust to clear around him, looking for Goki. |

The hair on Ichii's neck began to stand on edge as he heard Koichi shout. He could sense a tremendous amount of energy gathering behind him and when he looked Ichii saw that energy gathering from the tip of Koichi's finger. He had been there for Koichi's training, but was surprised by the sheer magnitude of his energy.
The spirit gun cut through the air hitting Goki right in the chest. The blast caused smoke to form and the wind from the force of the blast stirred up the dust from the floor. A bleeding, darker red shade of Goki took a step from the debris. A huge hole was visibile in his chest. “You…” Goki took a single step forward before falling to his face. His body made no more movement as his blood spread across the floor.
Ichii took a look over to Eijiro. His stiffened body had relaxed back to that of a normal person's skin. His body remained unmoved and likely to not move again. He walked over towards Koichi and put his hand on his shoulder, “You did it.” Ichii smiled then breathed a sigh of relief. His eyes moved around the room to the stuffed animals scattered all over, “Judging by how quick they tried to shut this place down, I'd bet they had more hiding here.” Iichi nodded towards the truck, “Let's hope it wasn't all in the earlier trucks.”

Koichi was breathing deeply, his chest heaving up an d down as he gasped to catch his breath, surprised by how winded firing the spirit gun had left him. He staggered for a moment before pulling himself together while he looked down at Goki, who was lying face down on the concrete, unmoving. A quick glance over to Ichii revealed that his fight had gone the same, and now the warehouse was silent.
” You think they got away with anything important? ” Koichi asked, as he stepped past Goki towards the truck, curious about what else might be inside. ” What do we do now, with the truck and with these two? ” He motioned to the bodies, wondering if they would also be left to clean up or if someone else would come in to handle that work after the. |

Ichii shrugged towards Koichi as he made his way over to Eijiro. “Not sure. Judging by how quickly they had to move out they may not have been able to move just the important stuff first.” Ichii knelt down and grabbed Eijiro's finger. When he released hid fingers, a green band glowed around Eijiro's fingers then dimmed until it was completely black.
Ichii stood up and looked over towards Koichi with a big smile, “Your parts done, detective.” Ichii pointed towards Koichi's wrist, “If you push down on the middle of the face, you'll send a message to Botan that it's all clear and your location. She'll send a team to do a clean up.” Ichii grabbed the side of the truck and jumped into the back. “Now, you can press that and let Koenma and his team get everything, but…” Ichii looked back at Koichi with a sly smile, “I bet your wondering what your old friends are up to now.”

Koichi watched Ichii closely as he inspected something just out of his range of vision on the red head's hands before making his way around to the back of the truck and hoisted himself up into the trailer bed. He seemed to be becoming to ex-yakuza to make a choice, and it was clear to him at the time what choice he would have to make.
” The witch and the baby can wait a few minutes, I want to know what's in the back of this thing. ” Koichi replied as he glanced for a second at his own wrist before following Ichii up into the nearly fully loaded bed of the truck, attempting to peer through the obscured light at what Ichii was up to. |

Case One: Demons Abound |

Ichii smiled widely, almost jumping with joy, “My man!” Ichii said before heading back into the truck and looking through each of the crates.
The majority contained cheap knockoffs. Figures from series like Komoda Dragonball, Mariner Satellite and Banshee Documents. Each of these crates were wooden with no markings except for a few. “What's that?!” Ichii said as he pointed towards two wooden box crates with the mark of a red eye and behind that was a circular barrel, much larger than the crates with a similar marking. Ichii made his way to one of the marked crates and found similar coverings of knock offs, but swung the whole top of his body into the crate to dig towards the bottom.
Ichii came up waving documents with his left hand. “Now what do we have here.” These documents showed scientific figures, measurements, and explanation of experimentations on both humans and different types of demons. They documented the transplantation of organs from human to demons and vice verse. The documents appeared to be incompleted, though the insight it gave showed some of the experimentation was just to see what would happen. The documents were detail, but would need more time to fully understand what they showed.
A search of the other crate with the marking contained similar knockoffs then at the bottom were also documents detailing what seemed to be the crime Koenma was worried about. It described three items being targetted. The Orb of Baast, Shadow Sword, Forlong Hope. The document went into detail about the uses for these items and how Goki and his band planned to use them, keeping the Orb of Baast for himself and giving the other two to his accomplices.
The Dragon, a codename for sure given to one of them. A demon capable of controlling flames and wielding create power by using his Jashin eye.
Weakness: His sister.
The Boy, another codename. A young human with strong spiritual abilities. He has proven himself to be tricky and has guaranteed to get us into the vault in exchange for the Forlorn Hope.
Weakness: His grandmother.
The final barrel loomed in the back. A strong aura radiated from the barrel towards the two as they drew closer. It's energy was negative, but one of fear and pain. It sought to protect itself as it spread out. Opening the top of the crate would reveal a thick layer of what appeared to be spider webs. The webbing was so thick it would not yield to hands pulling it apart, but would need Koichi's skilled use of his spirit sword. At the bottom, a young boy laid curled in the fetal position, unconscious.
