I really enjoyed watching it (netflix)
Of course it was soooo unrealistic.. but I still enjoyed it. Anyone else a fan?

I watched the first season back when it was new and it was alright, I never returned to it though and while I hear a few of the following early seasons are really good I have also heard that after season 4 it goes down hill fast and that the final season was horrible. I'll likely never watch any more of it for that reason.

I enjoyed it. The worst season was the final. I don't think it ended too well. I would give the complete series an 8

It's one of those shows where it's kinda like 2nd teir quality, there are a lot better shows. For a couple seasons it makes more sense, going as long as it did (as with any show) just makes it more stupid as they run out of plot ideas. The best shows know when to call it quits.

For me, as a whole, Dexter was between a 7-8. The last few seasons bring it down quite a bit. That being said, seasons 1-5 had me hooked for a while.

Whatever happened to the spinoff series that they said they were going to do? Seems like that idea fizzled out, not that it was a particularly good one after the finale happened.
