I just picked up this game and I'm hooked. The graphics are good, but like most 3DS game I find myself changing the screens angle so I can see it right. It plays a lot like the Ocarina of Time and pays homage to the game in the form of pictures showing its story, more or less. I'm hitting my 7th dungeon right now. If anyone has the game, let me know I'd like to discuss some stuff.

Update: Beat it. Most of the dungeons are too short though. Its cool that at least most have some bonus item hidden, but just too short. It may be the travel system that makes it all seem short, but I'd probably be complaining without it so kind of a lose-lose situation. Overall the game is really fun with awesome puzzles and the new wall painting system. The ending's pretty nice.

Is this the one that is suppose to be a direct sequel to A Link to the Past?

Thats what I heard, but I'm not sure. Unless A Link to the Past is basically the same as Orcarina of Time then possibly. They give a brief history that is almost exactly the same as OoT, with a few changes. General play is get the 3 stones, get master sword, save sages, and fight boss. Of course with a few small things like upgrading master sword twice and a stronger tunic. The only Zelda game I've throughly played is OoT, though I never beat it, so I can only work off that. It was a great game and since I preordered it I got oracle of seasons so I'm getting into that

I just looked on wiki. It takes place in A Link to the Past's world, but six generations later. I'm sure if you played it the sages would be similar since they are direct descendants.

I was wondering how this was. I was really excited when I heard about it, but I sorta forgot since I don't have a 3DS. Or a DS for that matter.

I looked it up, this is the sequel to ALTTP, my favorite Zelda game. It seems to have gotten pretty solid reviews (91 on metacritic), to bad I'll likely not play it since it's a 3DS game. It's been awhile since I played a Zelda game, the last one was Wind Waker for me.

If A Link to the Past isn't your favorite Zelda game, I don't have words for you.

I'd say OoT is the more popular game, though like I said I prefer ALTTP. I'm sure there are some people who favor the later games as well, though I've never met one, lol.
