And I am remebering why I always thought that it would make an execellent RPG, because it combines so many good elements into one. You've got the post-apocalyptic world which is always a great setting, populated by monsters that are bent on consuming all living things and even non-organic matter. Pair that with mecha & the orbital space station's sci-fi elements and power you have a great RPG setting. To bad nobody liked Blue Gender…

I re-watched it last summer I think. Or the one before. I don't remember. I always liked it, but I never loved it. The setting is indeed awesome, but I'm not a huge fan of the last few episodes. I really like the first half of the series though.

As I recall the first 13 episodes were by far the best, there is just an atmosphere about them that kinda gets lost when things transition to the space station. That being said, I remember watching it when it was originally airing, almost 10 years ago, and really being into it. This is the first time I've seen an episode since then, so I don't remember many of the plot details which is nice, it's somewhat newish.
