A new series from Shinichirō Watanabe, director of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo that started airing on Adult Swim a few weeks ago. I missed the last couple, but so far, I've enjoy it. However, t's VERY different from his previous works though. It's a lot more comedic and weird. It's something you just have to watch to understand.

Never heard of it, though I may download it and check it out.

As a fan of Cowboy Bebop, I'm pretty sure you're obligated to check it out.

So I watched the first maybe 5 episodes. Was unimpressed with both the quality of the writing, animation or story. It seems like its going for something that a certain group might enjoy but as far as animes go, I was not a fan.

Everyone should watch Kids on the Slope though.

I need to remember to look this up, as I love Bebop.

Yeah, I stopped watching after 6 or so. I liked it okay, but like Andrew said, it wasn't quite up to snuff to his previous work. I thought the animation was alright though.

I actually really like it. It's one of those shows that doesn't really have a coherent timeline/storyline, so every episode is just kind of it's own independant thing, and for someone that isn't always able to catch every episode that helps me out when watching it. I really dig the humor in it, too.
