The Conquest of Planet Tirallia

The tremendous hiss of flames reverberated at maximum audacity throughout the small space pod that was hurling downwards through the dense atmosphere of the Planet Tirallia. Inside, his focus on the impact to come, Daikon braced himself. Seconds later the space pod smashed into the surface of the planet creating a crater some thirty feet in diameter, sending a massive plume of dust and debris in its wake. After a moment with little murmur the door to the pod began to open, allowing a slowly expanding beam of sunlight to encroach inwards which temporarily blinded the Saiyan warrior.
” God damn sun! ” Daikon exclaimed as he raised his hand upwards to shield his eyes which had not seen natural light in almost three months. ” From now on we land at night… ” he oontinued to mumble as he reached with his free hand, grasping a small handle which allowed him to pull himself from the pod.
The fragmented rock and pulverized dirt sank under the weight of the Saiyan as he pulled himself up the steep slope of the crater. Turning towards the deep pink heavily cloud filled sky of Tirillia Daikon looked upwards, waiting for his fellow Saiyans to arrive, knowing they shouldn't be far behind. |

The heavens themselves were split open by the arrival of the next Saiyan. A searing red sphere punching a hole through the clouds, the afterburn almost looking as if it had set the skies alight. The small window showed the Saiyan his landing zone, unsure of where the others were at this juncture Santy could see his destination was a mountainside.
“Here it comes!” He yelled in an almost excited manner.
At breakneck speeds the pod smashed into the mountainside, it created an impressive dent in the stout stonewall of the mountain. Having landed on the side of the mountain basked in shade the dull red glow of heat emanated from the rocks nearby, the pod door popped open and from within it a somewhat staggered and dazed Saiyan appeared. Staggering along the scorching rock as he gathered his bearings the Saiyan could see in the not too far distance the rising smoke of another arrival, it seemed they were the only two for the moment.

During the short trip through the atmosphere, the raw recruit's eyes remained shut. This was his first trip in a pod and the idea of crashing into a planet terrified him. He told no one, of course. They would see it as a weakness. That didn't mean when he was alone he had to pretend. As the light that came in through the slowly opening door hit his closed eyes, Arug's eyes bolted open. The other members of the squad could have been right outside and they would see nothing of what just occured.
As soon as the door was fully open, Arug was already moving to leave, a bad idea. The sun blinded him and his legs, stiff from staying still for three months, weren't working as they should. Playing it off as if he was positioning himself to stretch, Arug worked the kinks out of his sore body. His eyes darted side to side, looking for other members, and saw smoke settling of both sides of him. Only two left to go.

Shockwaves were sent billowing through the ground on which Daikon stood, the rippling motion sending a tremble up the Saiyan's spine as he watched two of his fellow Saiyan warriors arrive on Tirallia. The first was Santy, someone Daikon was familiar with and have served several missions along side, however the other he did not recognize.
” Haha! Santy you bastard, I heard you were on Planet Pygain, I guess they ending up being pushovers?! ” Daikon shouted across the ruined meadow where the Saiyan pods had landed.
Daikon scanned the enviroment for a moment as he began to close the distance between himself and Santy's pod. It appeared that they had landed in a uninhabited area of the planet, there was no sign of civilization nearby. A rolling overgrowth of green stretched far into the distance, only broken up by the occasional odd tree growing up from the brush.
” So who's the new kid? ” Daikon asked as he arrived next to Santy, gazing at the nearby Saiyan who could surely overhear their conversation.

Shortly after his own emergence a third Saiyan pod punctured through and had decimated another small section of this planet, it seemed as though an invasive force of Saiyans may be required here. The prospect of a challenge was already getting the blood coursing through Santys' veins. It was at that point he heard the voice of Daikon, an all too familiar voice – this made things more interesting someone who might be able to keep up with him.
“Pushovers? None stand before the might of the Saiyans!” Santy roared with laughter, although he was sporting a new scar on his neck.
“Hmm his power level is lower, he looks a bit shifty too. Like maybe somethings wrong with him, I heard reports of a guy called Arug who was a bit weird on another mission. Still he got the job done,” Santy said, responding to Daikon and poking fun of Arug for being the weaker Saiyan here.

Arug, once limber, was back to trying to play the part of an official saiyan squad. He stood up straight and tried to walk with as much authority as he could muster, but considering he had never been in charge before, he couldn't muster much, “That was still training.” His accomplishments will be what they are, nothing more or nothing less. “This is the first official mission.” Though his words sounded weak, there was no weaknesses in his speech of walk. He walked across the new planet as if it was now his, he spoke with no falter and no doubt.
Once within easy speaking distance, Arug stood and crossed his arms across his chest. He was new one and understand it was now his time to wait for orders rather than ask for direction. His time will come when it comes.

The familiar bleeping of the space pod filled the small space that the saiyan warrior had called home for who knows how long. The majority of his travels he usually slept, however he generally liked to set his pod to awaken him from time to time. He enjoyed watching the stars and planets he passed, making sure to mark those that seemed to catch his eye. Unfortunately they would be marked for his personal quest of destroying the pleasant things in life. This warrior was a simple one. He enjoyed the bland in life, and to stand out in life was something meant only for the dead. How he hated the royal families, more so the king. The Saiyan race is a warrior one, why there needed to be flashy suits and homes he did not know.
” Finally.. ” he uttered as the planets atmosphere began to heat the outer shell of his pod. The one thing he loved about his race however was the lust for battle. The thing that caused him the most joy of all. His optics watched on as the pod broke through the clouds and rocketed through the sky, fishing just past the three smokey holes and finally crashing down into a jungle of red trees. The ground would be scorched and almost seemed to evaporate into an enourmous crater, the jungle now but a memory. Saiyen would roll his neck, a few pops extruding from him as his arm reached forward, unlatching his pod door and pulling himself up from his seat.
” Ugh.. the air smells disgusting.. ” he murmered, spitting the saliva from his mouth unto the terrain. His body would then levitate up and out of the crater, feet touching back down on fresh soil. He would start walking towards the three others, winding his arm about and stretching his muscles from the long journey. |

There was a brief silence as the others began to make their way to where Daikon and Santy stood, the two Saiyans exuding confidence and power in their stances. A soft breeze carried a unfamiliar smell through the air grasping Daikon's attention for a fleeting moment before he was sucked back into the reality of the situation.
” Ok it seems that we are all here now, and obviously we all know what we are here to do so let's not waste any time. ” Daikon said as he reached behind him, uncliping a small device from his belt which he raised upwards and secured to his right ear. A small light began to blink in the devices screen which now covered his right eye. ” Looks like we have some decent sized power levels on this shithole. ” Daikon continued as he began to scan for the most powerful warriors the planet had to offer as well as the major population centers.
” Looks like there is a group of power levels all around seven hundred a couple hundred miles to our south, I think we should start there. ” The Saiyan said as he turned to face the direction the power levels were located in.

“Seven hundred?” Santy asked in a confused manner, this was more than he had expected.
“Well lets get on with it!” Santy aggressively bellowed.
“One final thing though, what do we know about this worlds technology? Is there anything we need to bear in mind?” Santy asked Daikon, Arug and the third arrival, as Santy had come fresh from another mission what he knew of Tirallia was severely limited, like all Saiyans he loved the thrill of combat but he didn't want to walk into hell without being aware of it.
Santy began configuring his own scouter to get readings, however, it seemed the tumultuous impact had damaged it. It currently wasn't picking up anything beyond the range of those nearby. An issue sure to need resolving at some point, but for now he was focusing his efforts on where Daikon directed his attention.

Saiyen's eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the warrior read off the power level listings from his scouter. He wondered why people still bothered with those devices; he had learned to sense energies some time ago from one of his conquests. She was quite the clever woman. He may not be able to get exact ratings, but he could atleast sense the general ferocity of a fighter.
” Let's just get this over with ” he grunted out too the three. His bones ached for a bit of fun after the long trip and he was definitely not about to miss an oppurtunity to blow up a few continents. A small bevel of dust picked up around his feet, an almost halo effect pouring from it as his feet touched up from the ground, his body floating upwards and swaying forward before a torrent of energy wrapped itself around him in a purple hue.
” First kills mine ” he shouted before his body shot off with a gust of wind in his wakee. A slight smirk vailed from his lips as his muscles began to expand, his eagerness for bloodshed coarsing throughout his being.

Daikon's finger meandered across the scouters small button interface, pressing down with a click he was sure only he could hear. The image pictured on the screen zoomed as the scouter triangulated the exact number of power levels in the small cluster it had picked up.
” From what I read it seems that they are really no where close to matching our technology, however they aren't exactly stone age people either. ” Daikon said casually, answering the question Santy had posed him. ” From what I can tell there are five of them in a cluster, Lets get moving. ” He continued, unable to complete his sentence before the one known as Saiyen, someone he had only met once before blasted off on his own.
” These kids have no patience these days, I guess we better get after him. ” Daikon said in a stern tone, looking Santy in the eye for a moment before he unleashed his own energy in a massive aura which encircled his body, thrusting himself upwards into the dense cloud filled sky of Tirallia.

Santy could see the trial of two auras shooting into the sky, he knew he couldn't afford to let them get too far ahead. Reverting to a more silent stance for the moment he acknowledged what they said and also rose into the skies with his own pale aura engulfing him now. Shooting forth he had a heads up on what to expect and was sincerely looking forward to some combat.
No technology to worry about, only five of them together and the impatience of their strongest member the Saiyan couldn't help but feel like there wasn't going to be too much glory to fight for here. Why had so many of them been sent on this mission? For now it mattered not, busting a gut to make ground on the other two he didn't want to miss out on any of the carnage to come.

The pink hues of the Tirallia's sun piercing the atmospheric cover slowly faded to a deep indigo as the Saiyans passed through the clouds that wrapped the planet. A rocking blue aura trailed Daikon as he caught and passed Saiyen, taking the lead as he rightfully should, as he was in charge of this mission. Daikon had heard many stories of Saiyen's talent but ge also knew that even though he had been eclipsed in power, his ability to lead was not in danger.
” We're getting pretty close. ” Daikon spoke calmly into the scouters intercom, for a moment he wondered in Saiyen was wearing his, but this thought drifted as the city came into view.
Rising from the rolling meadows below and towering through the dense magenta clouds the massive structures grew higher and higher as they moved inwards to the cities center. Somewhere close this planets stronger warriors were waiting.

Saiyen smirked as he let the appointed 'leader' of the mission pass him by. The pride of the Saiyan race was like no other after all, and he did not want to start any fights; yet. His optics gazed on as the crashing wind blasted along his face, his body feeling nothing due to his armored battle suit. The young warrior did not need any words to tell they were coming close to their destination. With the rising structures before him he could feel various small energies all around him; the stronger ones not too far off.
” Disgusting little worms ” he spat out with a murmur, his arm reaching down with his hand extended flat. A sense of warmth overcame the warrior as a purple glow formed in his palm before firing off four balls of energy. The tint of the energy blasts faded from his eyes before lighting up all over again with a mix of red; the familiar smell of carnage filling his nostrals. He grunted a bit and turned his head up again as his hand returned to his side awaiting the energy that just became aware of their attack.
” Guess theirs no stealth option for this mission now ” he bellowed out with a wide grin. His heart was beating fast now and the anticipation was growing more and more.

“Hmph… Time to get proceedings under way,” Santy said to himself, the time for action had come.
With a slight spike in pitch a deep green orb of energy formed at his palm, turning slightly yellow towards the centre and glowing brightly he smirked before a stern frown came across his face. Aiming for the largest skyscraper in the city his orb was unleashed, with a vicious swerve downwards towards its base. As the orb impacted the sound of glass smashing and a considerable explosion rang out, following the boom of destruction unleashed by Saiyen.
As the tower began to collapse upon itself the screams of the weak rang out for the briefest of moments, before being extinguished.
“This is more like it!” Santy boomed, waiting to see if this was enough to lure out any who would actually be somewhat interesting.

A moment of crushing deftness overcame Daikon as reverberations from the attack reached his ears. A sense of enjoyment instantly rushed through his body, this is when he felt most alive. As the others sent waves of energy flying into the once peaceful epicenter of life Daikon took a moment to watch the citizens below scatter about in chaotic fashon, a smile forming across his face as he watched the scene unfold. Almost as soon as the feelings had overtaken him Daikon was snapped back as he scouter began to go off, the high pitch beeping letting him know that the real fighters were near.
” It seems they have accepted out invitation boys! ” Daikon shouted out, knowing he would have to yell to be audible above the resounding blasts. ” I'm reading five of them coming from the south west, they will arrive in two minutes. ” He continued to shout to the others.
Daikon, being the skilled warrior that he was, would use this time to prepair, he knew that the Tirallians would have tricks up their sleaves, they would do everything possible to save their planet.

His eyes gazed out over the fire and screams that were pouring from the cityscape, his smirk staying firm as he listened to the others shout about the conquest so far. His mind would trail off however as he was more occupied feeling out where the high energy beings were moving. It seemed there were indeed five of them like Daikon had said, but they weren't bunched together. It felt more like they were coming from three seperate locations. Two.. two.. and one. 'Hmm.. maybe their part of a police of sorts' he thought to himself with a smile. He loved fighting military defendants. Atleast they had some form of training. Taking a planet with just farmers and no warrior class was quite boring.
” Hope the newbie can handle himself in a fight hahaha ” he bellowed to the other warriors, his head turning back to Arug before flashing a crazy smirk, both arms reaching down towards a large group of people. A deep red hue now formed around his hands, a slight boom in his aura pushing out before a huge bomb of energy rocketed down. The impact was immediate, this time creating a huge explosion and a blinding light that filled the entire sky. ” That outta let them know where we are ” he laughed aloud, his body sweeping down and stopping just short of the ground his feet making a light tap his hands shaking with excitement. 'Guess I overdid it a bit' he smiled to himself as he stood inside a larger crater than their pods had made.

A shimmering amber dot appeared in the distance, Daikon's eyes locked on to the motion as he began to scan the horizon. Suddenly to his right two more dots, the auras of the Tirallian warriors eminating outwards, the power raw and fierce. Two more auras would soon dot the near sky, they had arrived.
” Remember, we need to keep at least once of them alive, I have some questions that need answering. ” Daikon shouted to his allies, aiming his remark at Saiyen, who had a reputation for being downright barbaric when fighting.
The Tirallians were a humanoid race, their body size bulky and large, most of them averaging out around seven feet plus. Their skin ranged in pigments but it seemed the most common hues were a dull teal or dull violet. The creatures were well propotioned in most features but sported large mouths and ears compaired to the Saiyans. They wore exotic clothing, well made, they were clearly and advancing people.
” What the hell are you and what do you want? The first Tirralians shouted across the distance, having come to a stop some one hundred meters ahead of the Saiyan warriors, his allies joining him moments later. |

Aurg powered up and flew into the skies after his allies. He may be the weakest and the newest one on the team, but he wasn't going to let that keep him behind. He would prove to his superiors that he was worthy to be one of the saiyan race. He stopped several meters behind Daikon waiting to see how these missions really worked. In theory, it was simply killing everything on the planet, but it couldn't be that simple. Daikon seemed to echo his thoughts when he ordered one to be left alive. Arug's blood began to boil. The memory of centuries of fighting flowed through his blood and it knew what it felt like just before a fight and it was ready for one.

Saiyen muised as he watched upwards, listening to the large beings demands behind the screams of the people in the area. What a strange looking warrior this one was; maybe he would be bested this day. The thrill!
” Hey buddy can you point us in the direction of the nearest refueling station, we seem to be lost! ” he spat out up to the Tirralian as more arrived behind him. Small deployment; possible strike team if military like their formation suggested. All joking aside Saiyen was not the arrogant type and did not jump into battle without thinking first. If their are a small number of worthy opponents then their are bound to be more. You don't have a group of warriors find eachother this fast to confront an enemy if contingent plans hadn't been in place. The Saiyan's teeth began to jitter as his hand clenched tightly in anticipation. 'This is going to be great..' he thought to himself, his clenched hand leading his arm to bulge as small bits of dirt began to dance along the ground.
