heartless explained
welcome to the heartless section of kingdom hearts. heartless are creatures that are spawned when a person’s soul is corrupted by darkness. these creatures roam the darkness slowly destroying worlds. heartless are considered monsters here on kingdom hearts, and any good character would want to stop these beasts, while evil ones could side with them. unlike past versions of kingdom hearts, we will not have a heartless battle section where you can battle a certain number of these beasts a day for experience points and rewards. heartless stat battles will be special and only used in site events and storybook chapters.
heartless guidelines
if you happen to find yourself up against a group of heartless there are some things you are going to want to remember, so you know how to battle these creatures. first of all, heartless will always be RP’d by a site manager or asst. manager, the manager will choose the attacks they wish to use, and who these beasts attack, in an attempt to destroy you. heartless battles in events and storybook chapters will always be stat battles, so all battle system rules apply here. heartless have hp, mp, and stats just like your character and should be battled as if you were battling another member. managers do not have to post these stats, so you may not know how many HP the beasts have, unless you have the scan abilities equipped.
use of heartless in normal role-playing
you are allowed to encounter heartless in your normal role-playing adventures, these encounters will not be viewed as special battles though, and no stats will ever be used, or special experience or awards given. if you wish to role-play an encounter with heartless feel free, however your experience gains will be given using the common system used for all other straight rps. information about that system, can be found in the guidelines ( here )
boss heartless
many heartless that you encounter along the way won’t be normal heartless that you can find in many locations around the universe but rather they are bosses. These boss heartless are much stronger then the normal heartless and provide much more of a challenge, boss fights will be very special heartless battles only used in the storybook section of kingdom hearts, the battles will be very tough, but very rewarding at the same time. bosses should not be used in encounters outside of the storybook, this included normal RP threads, as bosses are very special and only used to do great evil. |
