MOBILITY
Your character is adept at moving and avoiding blows in melee combat. When your character is attacked in a melee situation that character will gain a bonus to their reflex stat based on their level of mastery with the mobility ability. This bonus will effectively make it easier to roll under your reflex stat and dodge a blow. Mobility is an ability that is gained through experience in combat, your character will automatically gain this ability when they have successfully dodged ten attacks in melee combat, at which point they can start acquiring AP in the ability.

OPEN LOCK
This ability allows your character the ability to pick locks of all kinds. Picking a lock can require certain tools (wire, screw drivers, etc) depending on the type of lock, and a good amount of time depending on the complexity of the lock in question. Picking locks will work like most situations here on Biohazard, where as the lock will be given a dice check number which the lock picker much exceed via d20 roll, with their level of lock knowledge coming into play as a bonus to that roll. Lock picking cannot be learned on the fly, it must be learned from a book or by instruction from another.

POWER ATTACK
Power attack allows your character to make a special more powerful attack then normal, adding additional damage to that of a normal attack. When performing a power attack your character exerts double the normal stamina cost for the action, but adds one half the total damage after the dice roll to the overall damage. Power attack as an ability can be developed by ones self, but the process is slow, and it is best learned by being taught by another.

QUICK DRAW
In normal situations the act of drawing or actively readying a weapon is a partial round action that can be a major disadvantage in surprise situations. The quick draw ability allows your character the ability to negate that penalty for drawing or readying weapons and makes it a free action. Quick draw as a skill can be learned through extensive practice but is best learned through instruction by someone who already knows the basics.

RANGED PROFICIENCY
Ranged proficiency is an ability that grades how well your character is trained at using weapons listed under the ranged class. All weapon class proficiencies can be gained simply by picking up a weapon of that class and using it for a short while, at which point your character will begin to grow more skilled. The effects of this ability in combat move straight towards your characters ability to do damage with this class of weapon, adding bonus damage based on ability level.
