FT. ADAIR MILITARY BASE
Located on the north side of the Alexander River, just east of the central city and suburbs, Ft. Adair Military Base was founded in 1943 as an air force establishment, where planes could quickly be brought into action if there was ever a Japanese attack on the American North West. In 1952 the base was converted in to an Army Facility and remains so today. Though it’s a relatively small base in size, and much of what was originally air field has now been claimed and built on, Ft. Adair does have a large presence in the Ulysses community. It’s close proximity to the nearby Ulysses dockyards make for great side employment for stationed soldiers who very regularly work part time at the docks for extra money. Ft. Adair has also in recent years become more involved in army research, starting in 1976 when the Byrnes Research Facility was opened on base, and continuing to this day, though exact knowledge on what the facility is being used for is unknown and has sense become public rumor for a decade now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HAMILTON BUILDING
Originally constructed as the main office building for the original Air Force base, the Hamilton Building as it has now been named has been expanded since it’s original construction but still serves the same basic function, a home to all central planning for the installation. Home to offices, conference rooms, and the like it is the central hub of the base, all orders come or go from the Hamilton Building at some point in time.

SAMUEL PAIGE BARRACKS
When Ft. Adair was transformed into an Army installation the first thing build were the new barracks, taking up all of what at one point was air strip three. Now home to many of the stationed soldiers the barracks are always alive with activity. The barracks are three stories tall and run the length of the original air strip, although recent plans suggest that they should once again be expanded to house more troops on base.

P. EDWARD CASS MESS HALL
Soldiers like to eat, and when they eat they want to eat a lot, this is the core belief amongst the cooks and aides that work in the P. Edward Cass Mess Hall. With seating for one fourth the stationed troops, the mess hall tends to be one of the most active places on base, nearly twelve hours of the day. Serving all three meals four times, many soldiers find themselves working the complete twelve hours to make it happen.

FT. ADAIR AIR FIELD
When Ft. Adair was original constructed it’s main use was to be a fully functional air field that could quickly get fighter planes as well as bombers airborne in times of attack on the U.S. homeland. In 1952 much of the original objective was scratched to make it into a Army installation and two of the original four air strips were demolished to make room for new installations, however two fields remain active to this day.

WILLIAM NOAH ARMORY
Soldiers use guns, explosives, and other dangerous equipment that needs to be stored somewhere safe, after all you don’t want just anyone walking in and picking up a fire arm. The William Noah Armory is an all in one facility, housing all the storage of armament, as well as being home to a complete indoor firing range, and an outdoor range on the grounds, All combat training is localized out of the William Noah Armory.

BYRNES RESEARCH FACILITY
Constructed in 1976 amass great rumor of what the facility was intended to be used for, the Byrnes Research Facility is wholly off limits to unauthorized personal. It’s intended use is still unknown to most all people on base, and certainly unknown to the surrounding citizens of Ulysses. What is known is that the Army is using the facility for top secret research, many suspecting that weapons intended for cold war use are being constructed inside.

TRAVELING BETWEEN DISTRICTS
Traveling is a necessity, and usually will happen in scenarios. Players are able to travel to any district as they see fit in said scenarios, however remember some districts don’t border each other, to see a district map please visit (this) page. You must RP traveling from place to place in detail, as surviving is key to the entire biohazard experience.
