LOYAL HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD
Loyal Heights is typical of any modern middle class neighborhood. Located on the north side of the Alexander River, outside of the most congested parts of Ulysses, Loyal Heights is characterized by broad streets, big yards, and modern housing. Confirmed as one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Ulysses, Loyal Heights is home to everything a family could need, from recently constructed Everett Elementary School to the beautiful walking trails of Meadowbrook Park.  LOYAL HEIGHTS HOUSING
Most of Loyal Heights is just that, housing, with several blocks making up the neighborhood, all surrounding Meadowbrook Park. The housing itself follows classic design principles for this type of neighborhood, most having large front and back yards, many of those fenced in. If any community was to be labeled the American dream it would be Loyal Heights. The houses range in size, but most are designed for the common middle class family.

 MEADOWBROOK PARK
The centerpiece of Loyal Heights, Meadowbrook is a ten acre walking park which sports several trails that wind through the old growth pine forests and around tiny Bitter Pond. In the summer there is no better place to relax with the family, home to several picnic tables as well as a small area for children, complete with swings, a jungle gym, and the like. Bring the entire family and spend the day, you’ll never want to leave.

 POLICE & FIRE COMBO
Located across the street from Smith’s Grocery, the Loyal Heights Police & Fire Combo depot was constructed just four years ago to provide the kind of protection a middle class neighborhood expects. Though small in comparison to most stations, only home to two patrol cars and one engine, the depot is state of the art and open 24 hours a day for the benefit of the community, keeping the streets safe so parents don’t have to worry.

 EVERETT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Constructed just last year to fill the demand for a local school that would not require children to bus 20 minutes east, Everett Elementary School is now already home to 600 students. Featuring a gym, outdoor sports fields, as well as nearly 25 classrooms that range from kindergarten to grade five. Everett Elementary is also now home to all community event planning as well as local neighborhood watch meetings. |
