THE STORY
The year is 705 and on the planet Plant a insignificant Saiyan warrior is born to an insignificant family. Over the next ten years, the Saiyan warrior would be involved in many raids and ambushes against the Tuffles and against all odds, he began to rival the power of the more elite Saiyans. At just 12 years of age, the Saiyan was recruited into the most elite and secretive unit of Saiyan warriors and by time he was 15, he led a small squad of these warriors. Shortly after his promotion he was tasked with preparing his troops to ambush a communications tower that provided communication for the entire planet of Plant. This was a mission that had never been done before as the Saiyans mainly stuck to raiding merchants and supplies but avoided attacking anything bigger for fear of a war breaking out. This mission though, would start the war and there would be no looking back. In the year 720, the Saiyan and his squad of elite warriors successfully destroyed the communications of the Tuffles and ignited the Saiyan-Tuffle war. The war would last for 10 years and the most significant missions were carried out by his squad. They eliminated generals, destroyed secondary forms of communication, attacked the infrastructure and on their last mission were tasked with assassinating the Tuffle king in an attempt to demoralize the Tuffles. However, something happened to the squad and their mission was a complete failure and their whereabouts were unknown. No bodies were ever found and due to them being part of a secret unit, nobody ever looked. The failure of this mission failed to give the Saiyans the advantage that they needed and things looked dire. They fought back with their superior strength but they just did not have the numbers to overcome the Tuffles and when things got to the most desperate, a full moon, one that shows up only once everyone 100 years, rose into the night sky. As the Saiyans looked up at it, their biology began to change and they transformed into gigantic apelike creatures that would eventually be called the Oozaru. This tremendously powerful form allowed them to easily annihilate the Tuffles and within a year the war was over.
 
The victory would be short-lived however, as just one year later in 731, Frieza, a galactic overlord, would appear and annex the Saiyan race into his imperial army. Frieza enjoyed the power of the Saiyans and used them to eradicate the life off of planets so that he could sell them on the black market. For their part, the Saiyans were rewarded with significant technological advancements and resources and would prosper greatly. Yet, again, things would not last forever. The Saiyan race continued to grow in power with no limit seemingly in sight. Their power could not be left unchecked and therefore Frieza decided that they had done their part and it was time to end the arrangement. As Frieza’s signature move, the Death Ball, hurled towards Planet Vegeta, all hoped seemed lost. The attack came as a surprise to the Saiyans and they were not able to conjure up any type of defense. Just as the Death Ball entered the atmosphere of the planet it suddenly disappeared. Shocked, Frieza sent his army towards the planet, yet, within moments they were all killed by a Saiyan warrior that no one had seen for the last 9 years. The Saiyan warrior wasted no time and slaughtered his way too Frieza until he stood face to face with him. "Insanity bids you farewell," the warrior stated as he quickly launched his fist into the chest of Frieza and an eruption of light instantly detonated from within Frieza, killing him instantly. The Saiyan warrior who had been lost since he led his unit on the failed assassination mission against the Tuffle king had seemingly returned. However, he was almost unrecognizable as he had a dark red aura constantly surrounding him and an energy so evil that the Saiyans feared him more than they ever feared Frieza. It did not take long before he had seized the throne from King Vegeta who died alongside hundreds of thousands of Saiyans who attempted to fend off the powerful Saiyan warrior known only as Insanity.
 
It has been 22 years (Age 741) since Insanity usurped the throne and in that time the Saiyan race has continued to become more and more powerful, becoming the most feared people in all of the universe. However, not all Saiyans were pleased with how things have been going, the Saiyans were no longer a race full of pride. Those closest to Insanity were full of nothing but rage and anger and they did not reserve this rage just for other species but often tortured and murdered Saiyans who did not heed their every word. In the 22 years since his rule, a underground resistance led by members of King Vegeta’s royal guard, have planned and prepared for a revolt and their time to strike is drawing near…
