Mission 1.

Provisional Provision.

Planet: Talos
A medium sized planet dense with a rare metal, taonite, which is used in the production of spaceship hulls. The entire southern hemisphere in covered in large mountains with mines dug out. Even after centuries of digging, only about 25% of these mountains have been mined. The northern hemisphere is covered mainly by lush forest fill with oversized trees. Cities are built in the patches the trees were removed. The capital, Toa, is located just past the the equator on the forest side. Made of white marble from the mountains, the city is simplistic, but vast housing 25% of the population.

Sentinent Race: Creatines
A short (3'7″-4'2″) dark brown race that has been it's entire existance mining. Their height beliges their strength as they are very physically strong, but lack in ki strength. they have verital antlers on the top of their head about 3″ high which they use to find metals in the mountains.

Mission: The last shipment of taonite was short by 50%. The Creatines have been a servant race since they started getting Frieza's protection and a shipment has never been late or short. Speak to Lao, the rules of Talos and president of the miner's association, at Toa and found out why.

It had been a few days since he had shipped out for his on Talos and Tevolth was getting restless. Though he slept some of the time, he never could get comfortable in such a small area. The screen in front of him confirmed what he saw out of the front glass. Talos was in sight. Only minutes before they would land, “'Bout time.” Tevolth spoke to himself, grunting.

Being put on this unit was a great honor to Tevolth, one of the Dracos. He wanted to finish the mission swiftly and effectively. He enjoyed killing over interrogating, but whatever for Lord Frieza. The small orb shaped ship landed just on the outskirts of the large city made of a white stone. Jumping out of the pod as soon as the door began to open with with a whoosh of pressurized air. Stretching his entire body after a long time still, Tevolth let out a great roar, causing birds in the tree to fly off. Looking at the city and showing his fangs, Tevolth slammed his fist into his other hand,
“Time for some fun.”

The space pod hurled forward through the vacuum of space, the glimmer of a distant sun drawing closer every passing moment. A rhythmic siren cut through the silence of the void, drawing Ruta from his sleep. The Saiyan's eyes opened slowly, the odd fatigue of waking from hibernation grasping him. Ruta moved slowly looking down at his space pod's main display which projected landing on Talos in three hours, just enough time for his body to shake the fatigue and ready itself for combat. The subtle buzz of static hummed in the Saiyan's ear, he wondered if Ban had awoken from his own slumber.

The hours passed quickly, the growing orb of Talos now commanding all of the Saiyan's small round viewport. The display was cycling through several paragraphs of calculations, Ruta knew the pod was about to enter the atmosphere. In a sudden burst of heat and energy flames encapsulated the small pod, falling through the dense Talos atmosphere like a meteor. Breaking through the repulsive air jets fired up sending a wave of energy through the pod as it slowed it's immense speed to one that the pod could withstand upon impact. Ruta braced himself and seconds later the pod smashed through the trees and into the soft under soil of the forested planet. The explosion of impact threw debris in a circular pattern as it formed a crater several meters in diameter and depth.

The pods curved hatch opened with a hiss of air letting in the filtered rays of sunshine from the forest canopy. Ruta pulled himself from the pod slowly, his bulky muscles satified by the new found range of movement. The Saiyan stretched his arms and legs before fingering the small communicator button on his scouter.
” Status report? ” He spoke, awaiting response from the others.

A lone space pod rocketed along through the vacuum of space, brilliant rays of sunlight crashing against the hard metallic surface. Within the capsule an almost rhythmic alarm began to blare. It served to bring Ban forth from his peaceful slumber, and while not fully aware he was conscious enough to know what had to be done. Slowly he brought his right arm up to the console and began to tap a few buttons near the main display, pulling up an estimated time until his arrival. It was just over three hours away; more than enough time for him to recover his senses in preparation for the upcoming mission.
Ban simply closed his fiery orange eyes and let his thoughts drift while he waited for the landing process to begin. Time went by quickly, and soon enough Talos was the only thing visible in the small round viewpoint. A series of complex calculations flitted across the display in rapid succession before the pod broke into the atmosphere. A burst of flame wrapped around the pod as it began its descent, much like a falling meteor. A sudden jerk shook the pod as the thrusters kicked in to slow the pod down, before finally it impacted with several trees, splintering them under the momentum of the metallic pod until it crashed into the dirt and slid for a short distance before finally coming to a complete stop.
“Ban reporting,” Ban declared as he pressed a small button on the side of his scouter, hoping to establish contact with Ruta. The hatch of the pod started to open with a hiss as the compartment decompression, and direct sunlight crashed in. “I repeat, this is Ban reporting in.”

“Green and scaly as always.”
Smiling to himself, Tavolth clicked his scanner and could see the powerlevels of his other two squadmates. Each within the circle of Toa, but at different points in it. The city showed no powerlevels above 500, most around 100. They were scambling around, most likely because of the pods landing. The entire city seemed like a beautiful fortress. Tavolth hated the idea of form over function, but the stone is was made up was most likely of the highest quality. A group of four, most on the higher scale of their powerlevels, were heading towards the south side, the main entrance. “Meet up at the south side of the city. I think our welcoming party is awaiting.”

The main entrance was a grand staircase leading up the second floor of the capital. It was made up of the same white stone as the rest of the city. The group of four Creatines were heading down the stairs to meet the enforcers. The one that lead the group, while shorter than the rest had antlers with more branches on it. He wore white cloth robe with a gold necklace. The three behind him wore armor of strong, but flexible and allow wore strong body language even when facing powerlevels far higher than them. Tavolth landed at the bottom of the stairs, forcing them to walk to him down the massive staircase,
“Guess you know why we're here.” Yelled Tavolth not waiting for them to reach him. Even under these circumstances the leader walked to keep his grace and the guards matched speed, their training keeping them from showing their hatred of Tavolth.

Ruta released his intercom button, moving his hand along the curve of his scouter stopping as his finger came to rest against the devices second button. Depressing it the screen started to calculate, a cluster of several small power levels popping up nearby. A sly smirk formed across the Saiyan's face as he relaxed his hand, concentrating on his ki which compressed and with a burst of aura around him thrust him through the treetop canopy.

Ruta soared through the sky, feeling the whipping wind lash at his hair and clothing. The Saiyan loved the thrill of flight and even more so the looming thrill of fight. In the distance the beaming white city revealed itself beyond the forest canopy, the fluttering of birds moving around it's heights.
” Target location in sight, seems they have a welcome party assembled for us. ” Ruta spoke to the others over the intercom, scanning the nearby horizon for their aura trails.
In the distance he watched the green aura of Tavolth streak downwards to the city's south gate. With a burst of speed he quickened his pace, landing moments later a few meters behind his ally.

Ban stretched his arms and legs out to relieve some of that built-up tension from the flight, before he cracked his neck from side-to-side with a half-grin. Calmly he reached up with his right hand and pressed the second button upon his scouter. A short moment later he could see the power levels of the nearby natives on the visor, though none of them appeared to be of any real consequence. All the same they had a job to do here, that hadn’t changed, even if the natives were incapable of giving them a real challenge.
As he had done countless times before Ban enveloped his body with Ki, concentrating the majority of it at his feet, and then began to float several feet in the air until he suddenly hurtled into the air and toward his comrades at frightening speed. “It would certainly seem that way.” Ban replied coolly as he soared through the sky, locks of black and white hair flailing about wildly through the air as he closed in upon his destination. Soon he caught sight of the city’s south gate, along with his comrades, quickly landing just a few feet behind his comrades.
“My lord,” Ban quietly said as he approached Ruta’s right side, and offered a subtle bow of his head to the Saiyan before he focused his attention upon the group that had come to face them. They stood no chance against the three that stood before them, yet they showed no fear. They didn’t stand a chance, yet they showed no fear; admirable, if not foolish.
“Must you yell?” Ban rhetorically questioned their new comrade as he stood beside his liege lord, his gaze remaining fixated upon the Creatine forces all the while. “What is your will, my lord?” Ban hid it well, but he was eager for Ruta to give the word to unleash his fury upon them–to teach them fear, and why they shouldn't fail in their responsibility to those they were subject to.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stair case, only the Creatine in front stepped onto the ground while the three guards stayed on the bottom step. The Creatine on the ground bowed low to each of them, “Welcome to Loa, capital of Talos. I am Tay, advisor to Lao, ruler of Talos.” Looking at Tavoth confused, Tay continued, “I apologize, but I do not know. How many I be of service?” The advisors words and body language seemed to be sincere.

Not seeing this, Tevolth was steaming with anger. He took a half step when he noticed the guards reacting to hit anger and remembered his job. He could kill them and get the informationg by force, but this was a vital planet to Freiza and these people were good at it so he stood his ground in silence. Tay seemed to be one smart enough to relieving crossing Frieza would not be wise.

  Provisional Provisions
Ollusc had been left to make his own way to the planet, Frieza didn't have many Namekians within his stable of warriors – perhaps not even any besides Ollusc himself. Having been in Freiza's possession since infancy he knew little to nothing of his home world, and after years of numerous experiments as a youngling he had become hardened and refined into an agent of the Changeling overlord.

Often acting as a solitary agent on low priority missions this was actually the most noteable mission to date Ollusc had been assigned to. While he had heard of the Saiyan contingency he had never met any of them and was uncertain as to the reception he would get here. Perhaps Frieza didn't trust the Saiyans, or perhaps he merely wished to throw Ollusc to the wolves.

Arriving on scene he caught only the trailing words of the creatine creatures introduction,  standing close to seven feet tall Ollusc certainly shaped up as an imposing figure. For now he was curious to see how the Saiyans would deal with this, he had little else in his remit besides finding out why the shipment was short and to ensure it would not happen again.

With the entire task force in place Ruta walked forward passing Tevolth who seemed overly worked up by the locals. Listening Ruta stood stoically for a moment, considering all options for dealing with a people he honestly knew little about aside from the fact that they ran the planets mines which Frieza found important. Ruta scanned the city for a moment, taking in the general layout from afar before turning his gaze to the nearby mountains, assuming the mines were there. Feeling that the mines would not be damaged he had decided the best course of action.
” Frieza is not very pleased with your management of the mines. ” Ruta said bluntly as a cool smirk carved into his thick jaw line.
Ruta's power burst forth in a blazing yellow aura which sent a whipping burst of wind tearing through the landscape, tossing the clothing of the locals as it grew. The Saiyan acted fast, his arms reaching back behind his head, his back curving as he forcefully pulled ki from his body and with a thrust of his muscles sent a wave of energy flying towards the leader of the planet and his allies.

Due to being on extra guard due to the appearance of a new person, the guards were able to rush in front of the advisor as the blast was sent. The guards tumbled ontop of the advisor, none moving. The advisor squirmed his way out from under guards, brushed himselff off quickly, stood on his feet, and bowed low. He trembled slightly, but kept most of his diplomatic composure. Being on the planet where most were brutish and larger than him had trained Tay slightly for this.

“I am most sorry to hear this, but unfortunately I'm unsure why. The latest shipment left on schedule, but Frieza is always right.”
Bowing low once more, Tay had stopped shaking getting back to what he was good at, kissing up to those he deemed deserve it, “Lao would be the person to speak to about any issues. All reports to directly to him. He's overlooking the mine just south of here. The entrance is right past the forest and at the base of the mountain.” Tay bowed once again and pointed towards the mountain that the giant staircase faced, continuing to bow as he talked, “The entrance is directly that way.”

Tavolth jumped slightly at the unexpected attack. With a smile on his face, Tavolth chuckled, looking even more murderous due to his long mouth and sharp, large teeth. That's when he caught sight of Ollusc and his smile was gone,
“Come on man, can't be coming late. Givin' us green guys a bad rep.” He smiled, trying to be friendly, but was again murderous. Turning back to see the little guy still alive, but now bowing and pointing towards the mountain he shrugged, “Guessin' we're goin' to the mountains.” Lifting off the ground, he looked down at the namekian, “Didn't know we were gettin' another, but I've seen ya around, green guy. Not many of us.” Without another word, Tavolth flew off over the expansive forest that stood before the mountain.

OOC:
Sorry for the delay, waited to skip then got busy. There will be a 24 hour rule for skipping and the person skipped can jump back in when they can.

Ban casually brought his right hand to his forehead, cradling it in-hand while he let out a deep sigh. It wasn’t as if he was at all surprised by the sudden display of force from his Master, but rather that he knew it wouldn’t accomplish anything relevant to their objective. “Amusing as that was, my lord” Ban spoke with a quiet chuckle as the natives fumbled about in the aftermath of the attack. “we’ve other priorities to attend to here.”
As the advisor explained the situation Ban listened intently, but his satisfaction with the reasons for the delay quickly soured as the speech dragged on. Wordlessly he began to approach the advisor and his retinue while Talvoth spoke to the newcomer, coming to a halt a mere foot or two from the group as he began to speak. “If you speak the truth, you should have no problem with accompany us to these mines you speak of—alone.” Ban declared icily as towered over the advisor’s retinue, his posture ready for battle at a moment’s notice. “I guarantee your safety, if you speak truly, of course….”
Ban remained rooted in place even as Talvoth started to leave the scene, and he would remain that way even if the other two were to leave without saying a word on the matter. It was his duty, first and foremost, to ensure the safety of his Master—anyone that was a potential threat in that regard would be dealt with accordingly.

Ollusc didn't bat an eyelid at the brutish display of the Saiyan Ruta, nor was he particularly impressed submissive nature of Tay. Quick to deflect blame elsewhere, although given the impatience Ruta had displayed perhaps it had been a cunning move on his part to deflect attention elsewhere so that he may possibly escape any punishment the Saiyans saw fit to hand out.

Tavolth seemed to feel some kind of kinship but Ollusc was scepticle, knowing nothing of his past and only knowing a life of servitude under Freiza there was nothing really beyond skin colour that meant he had any more in common with Talvoth than any of the Saiyans.

I have arrived at the exact moment I was meant to,” Ollusc replied in a somewhat brash tone to Talvoth.

However, lead the way I expect these pathetic creatures will have more excuses for us as to why they have failed Lord Freiza,” Ollusc concluded as he too rose from the ground and began to head towards the mountain.

Ban seemed to be a bit more thoughtful – or at least thinking of how best to appease Freiza. Something they would all do well to remember as he was not the most benevolent of benefactors.  A large promise to make, to guarantee the safety of an individual but the odds were it was nothing more than meaningless hyperbole. The advisor was hardly in a position to negotiate though.

” No, we will not be so easily diverted. ” Ruta quickly responded to the others, his eyes locked forcefully on the adviser and his guards. ” Adviser or not there will be hell to pay, it's the way Frieza does business! ” His voice grew louder as he grinned a toothy smile.
Turning his gaze towards Ban he nodded and then in a burst of ripping aura thrust himself forward in a haze. Ruta was fast for a Saiyan his size, though he knew speed could be his weakness; however the power readings of these locals did not seem high enough to pose any concern. He would take care of them, the adviser, and any others before heading on to find the answer to the question of the lost shipment, there was a status quo to be upheld after all.

Ruta twisted through the sky as the lunged at the guard who had placed himself in front of the adviser, assuming that Ban and the others would take care of any others bold enough to interfere with their mission. His hand reaching out in an iron fist he aimed for the guard's face, hoping to end it quickly.

Come on now, no Saiyan shows up and follows some 'advisors' directions just like that.

Tay's eyes widened slightly as he saw one of his guards go flying into the stone wall, destroying sections of two stairs at once. Not wanting to see anymore attacked, he stepped forward and held his arms out at his side, “Stand down guards.” Saying the word guard to make sure the saiyan didn't think he meant him, “I'll accompany you so this issue can be resolved promptly and to Lord Frieza's liking.” The remaining guards backed up in response to Tay's order, but were clearly on edge. The one sent flying showed no movement. Bowing low, Tay looked to the saiyan, “Unfortunately, I can not fly like you, but I shall walk with you should you like. Though it could take quite some time. “

OOC: So I don't force the story along, I'll be doing DM posts and Tavolth post seperately. Tavolth post will be after Santy.

Ban listened intently while watching his master as he began to speak once more, his voice transcending into a booming shout that grew in intensity with every word. Once he saw Ruta nod at him Ban moved quickly, dashing out of the way with blinding speed. Only a split second later the Saiyan charged past him, and the devastating attack sent the guard flying before crashing against the stairs, destroying a part of them with the sheer force of the impact. “I should have known it would come to this.” Ban spoke up, his voice calm and steady, while approaching the advisor whom was quickly making another attempt to diffuse the situation. Sadly it was far too late for that.
“I’m afraid you’ve failed to appease my lord,” Ban solemnly declared as he moved to stand between the advisor and his retinue. “and the wrath of a Saiyan isn’t something you can be rid of with mere words.” At that he folded his arms and remained in place, acting as a form of barrier between the advisor and his guards while he called out to Ruta. “My lord, I’ll leave this to you.” Ban called out before turning warily toward Ollusc as he began to fly away, heading toward the mountain as Tavolth had done. With a frustrated sigh he set off after the party. It wouldn’t be easy to explain to Lord Frieza if anything were to happen to the others on what should have been an easy mission.

Brash, ignorant and impulsive – everything he had heard seemed to be transpiring before him. He cared little for it himself, at his command were very different means and methods of imposing the will of their overlord. Touching down on the mountain Ollusc immediately began to glance around, his scouter was picking up figures which didn't seem appropriate for mere workers. Was this outside of normal parameters or not?

Just what else do you do here?” Ollusc asked to any who were within earshot of him.

He knew the Saiyans would quickly pick up on this as well once they arrived. Perhaps there was a simple enough explanation, Ollusc had nothing beyond a brief overview of what to expect here after all.

Tavolth stopped quickly at the sound of conflict. Sighing and through up his arms, “And I thought my race was brutish.” Speaking under his breath, he crossed his legs hovering in mid air. Dracos loved to fight, but only worthy opponents and these guys weren't that. The advisor gave in quickly, just like any who fight with words causing him to shake his head. Cocking an eyebrow at Ollusc, Tavolth tapped his scouter and looked around. No powerlevel near there, but a few fluxuations coming from the forest between them and the mountain. Was there a reason the diplomate wanted to walk or was he just not trying to order us around? Tavolth thought to himself wondering.

Ruta was pleased as he watched the Guard's body thrown through the air from his punch, twisted like a rag doll until he crashed through a nearby wall sending up a cloud of debris. Nodding back towards Ban and the others, signaling he would be just behind them, he turned his focus back on the diplomat which seemed to at ease considering he was about to die.
” We'll go where you directed, however you will not be accompanying us. ” Ruta spoke, a wild blaze in his eyes stoked by the thrill of combat and desire to cause carnage with flowed through his veins. ” Frieza no longer wishes to retain your services. ” He finished speaking.
Ruta closed the gap between he and the diplomat quickly. The Saiyan reached he strong hands out, seeming to place his open palms upon the diplomats chest in slow motion. Ruta's eyes looked into those of the diplomat, craving the look that was only present the moment one realizes their own mortality. He smirked, his palms coming alight with a overflowing aura. A blinding light flashed as the Saiyan noble released a massive burst of energy, fully expecting the diplomat to be vaporized when his vision returned.

DM Post:

The remaining guards raced as the saiyan approached their advisor, but barely took a step before the blast went off and he disappeared forever. Showing pure fear, the guards ran towards the city and help fortify it. The giant stone doors closed behind them and alarms could be heard through the city. The guards knew the doors would do nothing against Frieza's forces, but it made the citizens feel safer.

The forest, which stood between the mountains and the city, contained 3 locations of power readings between 300-400. The numbers were of the upper reaches of the majority of the population. They were in a triangle formation with two half way into the forest and the last almost at the end.
