| C H O C O B O S About Chocobos I’m sure that if any of you have ever played a Final Fantasy game you know what a chocobo is but if not let me make it clear for you. A chocobo is a large flightless bird that runs wild over the planet. Now chocobos have many uses from simple travel (At which they are great at because of there great speed) to the sport of chocobo racing. Now catching chocobos is pretty simple you much first purchase a chocobo lure from Choco Bill at the [ Chocobo Farm ] then you simple post the required amount in the right world area to catch your chocobo. Now first we need to touch up on the different types of chocobos.
Weak Chocobos: These Chocobos are easy to catch and slow and can be found around the chocobo ranch and Icicle Inn. To catch one all you need is the Lure and a 150 word Post. (Stats: Spd: 3, Stm: 2, Int: 3, Tam: 1) Poor Chocobos: Better then Weak Chocobos but still not that good they can be found around the chocobo Ranch and Junon Areas. to catch one you will need the lure and a 200 word post. (Stats: Spd: 5, Stm: 4, Int: 4, Tam: 2) Mediocre Chocobos: These are So-So pretty close to the average chocobo. you can Catch them near Rocket town and will need the lure and a 250 word post. (Stats: Spd: 6, Stm: 5, Int: 5, Tam: 2) Average Chocobos: These are common Chocobos with good speed and stats. They can Be found around Wutai and the Gold Saucer. you will need the lure and a 350 word post to catch one. (Stats: Spd: 7, Stm: 6, Int: 7, Tam: 2) Fair Chocobos: These are nice chocobos and good to have. they can be found around Junon, Wutai, and Medeel. you will need a 450 word post and the lure as well as some Greens to catch these. (Stats: Spd: 8, Stm: 7, Int: 8, Tam: 2) Good Chocobos: These are as they say good chocobos really nice to have. you can catch one near the gold saucer and will need the Lure, some greens, and a 500 word post (Stats: Spd: 9, Stm: 9, Int: 9, Tam: 3) Great Chocobos: These are great some of the best in the world and FAST. you can catch them around Medeel and you will need the lure, some greens, and a 700 word post (Stats: Spd: 10, Stm: 10, Int: 10, Tam: 3) Wonderful Chocobos: The best of the best these birds are top notch in every way. they can only be found near the Icicle Inn and take the Lure, Greens, and a 900 word post to catch. (Stats: Spd: 12, Stm: 10, Int: 12, Tam: 3) Catching a Chocobo: As you may know already you must first have the Chocobo Lure materia equipped to your character, from there you must find a place where Chcobos run while, that info is listed above. You will then be required to make a post about how you found and caught the Chocobo, the Required number of words for the post is based on the type of chocobo which is also listed above. Chocobo Stables: You may keep up to one chocobo without a stable but if you wish to catch and keep more then one chocobo at any given time you will be required to buy a stable at the chocobo farm. Stables cost 10000 Gil and you can only keep once Chocobo in each stable, you May own up to six stables at the chocobo farm, no more then that. Breeding Chocobos: If you wish to ever have a truly superior chocobo I’m sure you will want to begin breeding, Before you can breed you must of course have a male and female chocobo and at least 1 stable owned. from there you will need a carob or zeio nut, It will take 4 Real days for the Chocobo to be born and one more real week for it to mature into a chocobo you can ride or breeding chocobo. |
