Employment Guidelines:
When you join FF7 Fortress making money is one thing you are going to want to do if you wish to keep up with everyone else. To do this you will be required to work. Jobs stating that they are "starting jobs" are available to anyone at the beginning all others must be worked up to. To get paid each week everyone will be required to post once a week on that weeks "pay thread" so that the staff knows who is active and who to pay. You can find the "pay thread" on the employment board [ link ]. You are allowed to switch jobs as you please. just post on a managers update board when you are ready to switch jobs.


Unemployed
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 50 Gil.
Description: You are currently jobless and are being paid by the city that you currently inhabit. If you don’t pick another job upon joining this is the job that you will end up stuck with until you apply for a change.


Reactor Worker
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 80 Gil.
Description: This job involves you working for SHINRA in one of their Mako Reactors. This job is only available in Midgar, Nibelhiem, Junon, and North Corel. If you leave these areas for more then a week without returning, you will lose your job as a reactor worker.
    
Reactor Scientist
Prerequisites: 2 weeks as reactor worker.
Payment: 200 Gil.
Description: After spending enough time around a SHINRA mako reactor you are able to move up to become an actual SHINRA scientist. Like reactor works this job is only available in Midgar, Nibelhiem, Junon, and North Corel.
     
Mighty Grunt
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 100 Gil.
Description: This is a basic military job, you will be working for SHINRA as a defender force to protect their assets around the globe. Might grunts are not SOLDIER’s but may become them later on.
     
SOLDIER 3rd Class
Prerequisites: 2 Weeks as Might Grunt.
Payment: 150 Gil.
Description: After spending some time working for SHINRA as a might grunt you will eventually be able to move up to SOLDIER class. SOLDIERS are SHINRA’s Attack force and are paid pretty well for their services.
    
SOLDIER 2nd Class
Prerequisites: 2 Weeks as SOLDER 3rd Class.
Payment: 250 Gil.
Description: After spending a few weeks learning to be a SOLDIER you are allowed to advance upwards to become a SOLDIER 2nd Class. 2nd Class SOLDIERS are attack force leaders and known to be very dangerous.
    
SOLDIER 1st Class
Prerequisites: 2 Weeks as SOLDER 2nd Class.
Payment: 350 Gil.
Description: After spending the required time learning to lead a force of SOLDIER you will be able to move up another rank to a SOLDIER 1st Class. 1st Class SOLDIERS are SHINRA elites and known around the world for their skills.
     
Turk
Prerequisites: 4 weeks working for SHINRA.
Payment: 250 Gil.
Description: The Turks are a special unit of SHINRA who work closely with the upper branch of their government. This Job is only available to those who have spent at least four weeks working for SHINRA in some way.


Inn Keeper
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 75 Gil.
Description: This is a basic job as the front desk person at an Inn, The pay isn’t outstanding but the duties required are simple, you just manage the exchange of Gil for room at an inn of your choice.
     
Inn Owner
Prerequisites: 2 weeks as Inn Keeper. Own an Inn.
Payment: 200 Gil. + Member’s Exchanges
Description: You can buy your own inn in any city, Inns cost 20,000 Gil to buy and you can charge whatever you like for room which will heal HP and MP to 100% for any who stay in them. You can stay in your inn as much as you see fit, and charge whatever you like for members to get the same.
      
Shop Keeper
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 75 Gil.
Description: You are the cashier for an item, weapon, accessory, materia, or all of previous shop. Your duties are to manage the cash register and make as many sales as possible.
      
Shop Owner
Prerequisites: 2 weeks as a Shop Keeper. Own a Shop
Payment: 200 Gil. + Member’s Exchanges
Description: Like inn Owner you must buy your shop, Shops cost 20,000 Gil and you can sell your goods for whatever you see fit to members. You will get your own page on the site. You must buy all of your own goods for 1/2 what they normally sell for. You cannot buy goods at 1/2 Price for yourself.


AVALANCHE
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 75 Gil.
Description: AVALANCHE is an anti-SHINRA organization who strike against the use of Mako reactors to power the earth. AVALANCHE members must not hold any alliance with SHINRA.
      
Wutai Guard
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 100 Gil.
Description: Wutai Guards are Anti-SHINRA and are hired to protect the city of Wutai from SHINRA. To become a Wutai Guard you must be in Wutai at least once a week and cannot have any alliance with SHINRA.
     
Mythril Miner
Prerequisites: None, This is a starting job.
Payment: 80 Gil.
Description: Mythril is a very sought after metal and the mining of this metal can be a very profitable job if you know what you are doing, This job is only available in Midgar, Kalm Town, Mythril mines, Chocobo Farm and Junon.
     
Outlaw
Prerequisites: None, this is a starting job
Payment: 60 Gil.
Description: Outlaws are common criminals that make their money by stealing from others, outlaws have no job advances but anyone can be an outlaw.
     
Weapon Smith
Prerequisites: 2 weeks a Mythril Miner.
Payment: 200 Gil.
Description: After spending a few weeks as a mythril miner and learning about the metal you can move up a employment rank and become a weapon smith, this job is available anywhere and doesn’t require you to be close to any mythril mines.
