EQUIPMENT EXPLAINED
Battling and combat are something that takes place often in the very unstable world of final fantasy vii. Because of these truths the best fighters keep an edge by having the most powerful equipment. Equipment consists of your character’s weapon, armor, and accessory, items which help aid your character in combat. You can only equip one weapon, one piece of armor, and one accessory at any given time so remember this. Equipment can be purchases from item shops around the world, but many of the best available pieces of equipment are rare items that must be quested for. Please remember that this is only a listing of all the different types of weapons, armor, and accessories and that you cannot purchase them directly from this section.

WEAPON CLASSES
There are a total of nine different classes of weapons available here on ffvii fortress. These weapons vary in style and use, and are generally limited to certain player classes. Please make sure to check the player class section to see what type of weapons your character can use, and those that they cannot.

  ›  [ blades ]: blades, are one of the most used and seen melee weapons in final fantasy vii. these weapons can be used
       by fighters, turks, soldiers, and ninja.
  ›  [ boomerangs ]: boomerangs are a very rare and skilled weapon seen mostly only in the wutai region of the planet.
       because of this they can only be used by the ninja class.
  ›  [ gloves ]: gloves are a very basis weapon worn on the hand of the user. Generally gloves have some special properties
       that make them dangerous and can be used by fighters and turks
  ›  [ guns ]: guns are the most common weapon on the planet, and can cause some serious ranged damage. Guns can
       be used by soldier and the turk classes
  ›  [ gun arms ]: the gun arm is a very specialized weapon. these guns are actually part of the users body and are surgically
       implanted. gun arms can only be used by the fighter.two class
  ›  [ headdresses ]: headdresses comprise of many different weapons that are worn on the head of the user. These weapons
       were developed for the cosmo lion race and are used by the lion warrior class.
  ›  [ m-phones ]: m-phones use sonic waves created by yelling into the weapon as damage. These weapons are somewhat
       rare and are usually only used by the gambler class.
  ›  [ spears ]: spears are a very old and basic melee and ranged weapon. These weapons generally rely on the strength of
       the user to cause damage, and because of that are used by fighters, lancers, soldiers, and turks.
  ›  [ staves ]: a staves power comes from the magical abilities it holds. Because staves require the knowledge of magic to
       use effectively they are usually only used by mages.

ARMOR EXPLAINED
Armor is a very important component to any warriors’ battle equipment. There are many different types and styles of armor used around the world but one thing is universal, the better defensive and magical properties that the armor has, the better it is. Many shops throughout the world carry standard armor, but if you wish to acquire rare and powerful armor, you will almost surely have to adventure through the world to find it.

ACCESSORIES EXPLAINED
Accessories by no mean are required for any warrior to survive a battle, but their strange and powerful properties make them something all warriors search for. Accessories tend to lend protective abilities to characters, such as protection from elements as well as certain status effects. However, some accessories have also been widely known to actually boost certain attributes when equipped to a character, as well as provide other useful advantages.

PURCHASING EQUIPMENT
As it is stated above, this section is just a listing of all the available equipment here on ffvii fortress, and that you cannot purchase equipment here in this section. If you are wishing to purchase some equipment for your character then you will have to visit item shops in all the cities around the world to see what equipment is available. If you find something you wish to buy, create a thread on the purchase board, with the item, price, and a link to your bio.

HOW TO EQUIP
Once you have purchased some equipment you will almost surely want to equip it to your character. Doing so is very easy, so don’t worry. When you’re ready to equip, create a thread on a manager’s update board. In that thread provide the manager a link to your bio, as well as the equipment you would like to equip to your character. Then all you have to do is wait, and not long after a manager will update your bio and you can use that equipment in combat.
