WELCOME TO FF7 FORTRESS
First of all, I would like to welcome everyone to FF7 Fortress and I hope you all enjoy your time here. As you may or may not know this site has been around off and on for over 3 years now and for the past 4 to 5 months has been limited to about 15 active members but that’s all changing now that we are back to being a public RPG so please read over all the following rules and the other pages here in the guidelines section and have a great stay.
SOME GENERAL GUIDELINES
» FFvii Fortress is a site that is meant to be safe for all ages, so please no profanity on the boards or in the chatroom.
» Along with the rule above please keep any mature conversations from our chatroom and message boards.
» Pornography will get you banned instantly so keep anything of that nature off of our site, this is your only warning.
» No spamming the message boards, any unneeded links or multiple spam posts will be deleted and you will be banned.
» mIRC scripts are banned from our chatroom, if you are caught using one you will be banned without warning.
» Please don’t create any new photo albums here, it clutters up the site. Upload all member images [ here ]
AFFILIATION GUIDELINES
» If you wish to affiliate with us, please post the info on the general board, please title the thread "affiliation".
» Affiliation requests will not always be answered quickly, so be patient, pestering staff will only cause us to deny you.
» Any sites with stolen content or graphics will be denied. So if that’s the case don’t even apply.
» If you have any questions about our affiliation policy please contact a manager by posting on the following board. [ link ]
MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES
» Updater’s are required to update their board at least once per day, or they will be demoted.
» For management reasons updaters should always post "updated" at the end of an update thread. so we can keep track.
» If an updater is found to not be updating at least once a day then you can report them on the following board. [ link ]
» No Hammers are to be given to any member in the chatroom at any time, you will be banned for this.
» No staff members are ever allowed to ban a member for the site without first contacting management.
» Like updates management should check the registration board at least once a day and add any new bios.
WORD COUNTS
With many of our experience systems based off of word and post counts, it is very important to make sure that you post those word, total words, and total post counts with any and every role-playing post that you make in character. If these counts are not made then updater’s will be unable to award you and experience for your role-playing threads so it’s in your best interest to make a habit of posting them with all of your RPs. If you do not have access or know where to find a word counter will have found one that is perfect for group RP posts. That word counter can be located [ here ]
DICE ROLLING
Dice rolls play a pretty important part of FFvii Fortress. A good deal of our systems require the roll of a d20 (a twenty sided die). You may wonder how dice rolls can be issued fairly when so many people may be RPing here, and the answer to that is simple, all dice rolls are required to be done on our mIRC script which should always be in our chatroom. Issuing the roll is very simple, all you have to do is enter the chat and type "`roll 20" and the script will roll the dice for you and give you your answer. Let it be known that all dice rolls are logged by the script giving managers access to the roll, member who rolled, and time of roll.

If you have trouble with any of the rules in the following guidelines sections and need to ask a question feel free to ask away, you can post ant questions that you may have for our staff on the questions board which can be located [ here ]. If you would like to report a violation of the rules or any other activities which you may feel are against any guidelines that we have listed in this section you can contact a manager through the update section [ here ].
