Limit breaks are extremely powerful and usually very helpful attacks or spells that you gain when your character has suffered enough damage to fill their limit bar. The effects of a characters limit breaks is based on the class of the character and how powerful that character is. Gaining Limits is a great way to turn the tide of a battle and because of this it is advised that you keep very close track of your character’s limit bar during and after battles.
LIMIT BAR EXPLAINED
The limit bar is the bar used to keep track of when a character gets to use their limit break. The limit bar raises as a character it hit with physical and magical attacks so every time you are attacked you get closer to your limit break. The way the system works is pretty easy, the limit bar is equal to your characters max hit points at any given time. It starts at zero and as you are attacked it grows based on how much damage you take, when it becomes completely filled you gain your limit.
+ [ example ]: your bar is a 0 of 500, you take attack damage of 235. so now your bar is at 235 of 500
