BATTLE SQUARE INTRODUCTION
The battle square is the pride and joy of the gold saucer’s owner, Dio, and one of the most popular attractions of the gold saucer. At the square you will be able to physically challenge beasts in a tournament like atmosphere with the ability to rack up points which you will be able to exchange for prizes. The battle square is also home to Dio’s famed trophy room, where your name can be added for feats that your achieve.


THE BS BATTLE SYSTEM
The battle square battle system is a series of up to eight battles (stat battles only) against random opponents inside of the prepared arena. The battles take place in rounds, with a different set of random beasts in each new round. At the end of each round a "round effect" will be given, making the next round tougher. After the end of round effect has been given the players battle points or "BP" for the round will be calculated and added to their previous BP. If you lose a battle in the battle square, you are not KO’d, your HP and MP are reset to what they were when you entered, and you leave with however much BP you had at the end of the last round. Battle square battles don’t award exp,gil, or ap and thus don’t count towards, or have a daily limit. Below is a list of battle square script commands which make the battles possible.


   [ `BSround # ]: with the # = the round (1-8), this command is used at the beginning of each round to see what beasts
      you will have to fight that round.

   [ `BSeffect ]: At the end of each round you will use the command so that you are given an end of round effect which
      are listed and explained. [ here ]

   [ `BP * * * ]: This is the battle points calculator. the first * is your current BP, the second * is the end of round effect
      for that round, and the third * is the # of the round your are in.


BATTLE POINTS EXPLAINED
Battle points are the most important part of the battle square, as you battle and move through the tournament you will be awarded these points which you will be able to exchange for prizes at the prize counter. Unlike the game, your BP will not reset when you leave the battle square, so you can come and go as you please and keep saving up your BP for that great prize at the battle square prize counter.
  
THE TROPHY ROOM EXPLAINED
The trophy room his where Dio, the owner of the gold saucer keeps track of all of the great achievements in his life, as well as all of the great acheivements in the battle square. If you beat records or achieve some great milestones your name will also be recorded here in the trophy room for all to see.

ROUND BY ROUND
For those who have never battles in the battle square, and might not know exactly how these battles work i have created a checklist for you to use when your fighting in the battle square.

  Post your bio as the very first post in the battle square battle thread you have started.
  use the `BSround # command to see which beasts you will have to fight for your current round.
  post the bios of the beasts in the second post of the battle.
  fight the beasts as you would any other beasts in a stat based battle, using our stat system.
  once you have defeated the beasts, use the `BSeffect command you get your end of round effect.
  make a note of the effects of the end of round effect, which effect your character from this point on.
  use the `BP command to total your BP to that point of the battle square tournament.
  repeat everything from the `BSround # command until you lose, or beat round 8.
