AVALANCHE INTRODUCTION
many years ago a small eco-terrorist group known as AVALANCHE was formed to counter SHINRA’s advances in mako energy development. This group, who was headed by Efle, spent many years combating SHINRA, hoping to save the planet from the destruction that would certainly occur if SHINRA was not stopped. This group of AVALANCHE was eventually defeated after an assault on the Corel Reactor which lead to the destruction of the town of Corel in a massive fire. As it happened, one of the men who was behind bringing the rector to Corel, Barret Wallace, finally saw SHINRA for what it was and soon found himself living in the city of Midgar, starting a new AVALANCHE to once again combat SHINRA and hopefully help save the planet.

AVALANCHE EMPLOYMENT
As it happens, Avalanche has begun to grow, and look for help it its quest to defeat the SHINRA electric power company, and in the process save the planet from its on coming destruction.

›  [ rank.one - new.recruit ]: this is the starting rank for AVALANCHE. new recruits are not given much information until they
      can be trusted with real missions, so most missions at this point are push overs.
›  [ rank.two - normal.member ]: these normal members of AVALANCHE are filled in on what their duties are, but still kept
      out of the main loop. to gain this rank you must spend 10 days as a new recruit, and acquire 100 rank points.
›  [ rank.three - specialist ]: the third rank of AVALANCHE is where all the trust about what they really are begins. to obtain
      this rank, you will be required to spend 10 days as a normal member, and acquire 300 rank points.
›  [ rank.four - avalanche.leader ]: the final rank within AVALANCHE, all the planning goes on here as it is the highest rank,
      to achieve this rank you will have to spend 10 days as a specialist, and obtain 500 rank points.

THE SECOND AVALANCHE
After Barret Wallace moved his adopted daughter Marlene, and himself to Midgar he soon met a woman named Tifa Lockheart who was the owner of a small, but well known tavern in Midgar’s Sector Seven, know as the Seventh Heaven. This tavern would soon become home to the second AVALANCHE and serve as their home base. Located in the basement of the tavern Barret and his Allies built their secret headquarters and began their assault on SHINRA, starting slow, striking small establishments, and currently beginning the planning phase on much larger missions.
