Ulysses General Hospital
Ulysses General Hospital takes up a rather large chunk of land between Downtown Ulysses and Old Ulysses, and is the main medical treatment facility in the region. Covering several tens of thousands of square feet, the main building is home to most of the hospitals main facilities. The ground floor is mostly taken up by the emergency room which is often chaotic, surgical facilities, and visitor facilities like the gift shop and cafeteria. Ulysses General Hospital also sports two floors of basements, with certain facilities located here, the morgue for example, but is mainly home to file storage and even a few offices for those working in file and hospital storage, or the janitors. Much of the four stories above the main floor are filled with patient rooms, some offices, and other medical facilities. The hospital itself is in good repair, it’s rooms having recently renovated to make for a more enjoyable stay as well as renovating many testing facilities so as to accommodate more modern technology to expand hospital coverage.
