Back in the days of MSN Groups, near the end, Cyberpunk had a section called the ‘datasphere’ which was intended to be a groups archive. When groups closed this ideal became a wiki on CPN but the editing and template structure of a wiki can be difficult and that meant not a lot of people were willing to put in the time to help the archives. I’ve decided that I would like to start something like this again, I’m going to built a simple mySQL database driven directory which will hold basic information from past MSN Groups RPGs. The information will be easy to deliver into the system through a simple form. Instead of massive histories I’m going to be seeking the following. Group Name, Creator, Staff Members, Brief Summary, Button or Logo, Years Active, Genre, and finally the original link (which will be used to tie this database to the web archive)
