However, shortly after her 19th birthday, Lena discovered a truly disturbing secret about her family tree. Eventually, the entire city of Guardia knew of their horrifying past and they were chased out of town. Her parents were killed in the riot and now Lena travels alone, draped in a hooded cloak to shelter her identity, longing to find a place in the world.
