Born twins, their parents never told them which was born first and has becoming an fighting point between the two on who was older. They grew up close with the ordinary rivalry of twins. Freyr excelled as healing magic while Souji took to attack magic. Together the filled the spectrum of magic. At the age of 19, Souji beat Freyr in a bet over a magic test and Freyr was foces to mop their house without magic. Thinking to play a trick, Souji tried a new magic spell he was working on and sent it at Freyr.
