Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny

Jonas had moved back, distancing himself from the first imp, giving his allies the space they would need to attack. He watched as Soren unleashed a massive attack followed by Lena's own burst of flames, the heat of which was strong even at a distance. it became obvious to Jonas that they had a strong upper hand, it would not be a challenging fight. The imps seemed to realize this as well, the mood between them shifting to fear as they backed away and then turned and started to run, quickly traversing the square and heading down a long road that led to the docks and southern coast.
” Where do they think they're going? ” Jonas said, looking to Lena and Soren. ” We should probably follow them, maybe they'll lead us to how they got this far. ” Jonas commented to the others before he started after the imps.
The streets of Truce were mostly empty, the word of the mystic attack had spread quickly and people had shut themselves in their homes. Jonas was surprised at the speed of the three fiends, they were running fast but Jonas had them in sight, and followed as they took a turn to the west, the road which would lean to the Zenan Bridge. Jonas wondered about this, remembering reading of Crono's adventure and the destruction and restoration of the bridge, he wondered when exactly they had arrived.

  The Call of Destiny

Demitri had been so awestruck by the fact that they had all just been thrown through time that he hadn't immediately registered in his mind the fact that there had just been an explosion in what was supposed to be the peaceful town they had just come to. Instead, he had been gawking at his surrounding for a solid give minutes while the rest of the group sprung into action. Once Demitri had realized this, he cursed at himself loudly and took off in a dead sprint to catch up to the rest of the group. Talk about embarassing!

Even though the young man was what most people would consider the bookish type, that hadn't stopped him from honing himself physically, and as such Demitri was fairly athletic. That allowed him to catch back up to his new friends fairly quickly, and to his pleasant surprise they had already seemed to take out one of those digusting creatures that had been attacking the town. Congratulations would need to go around, for sure, but in order to make amends for his horrible lack of attention earlier he had the burning urge to take out one of his own. “A thousand apologies!” He shouted to the group.

The town around them had clammed up faster than a frightened tortoise. There wasn't a spoul around it seemed like which only made it easier for Demitri to give chase to the fiends along with his comrades. “Turn 'em to ash!” Demitri shouted as his pace brought him up next to Jonas. He clenched his hand into a tight fist, his skin warming as he teetered on the bring of conjuring seething flames with his devices. As soon as the group caught these bastards, they were going to have the heat akin to the sun itself wrought down upon them.

  The Call of Destiny
Knowing that she was removed from her own time and the responsibilities associated being a knight of Guardia Castle, Nadia couldn’t help but feel a bit of relief. She closed her eyes and breathed in the sweet summer air, letting the breeze tickle the tip of her nose. She could have stood there on that grassy hill for hours, basking in the wind and sunlight, the peace and quiet of nature. And then came the explosion.

Breaking the silence in a dramatic uproar, it caught Nadia – with eyes still closed – off her guard. She opened her eyes and jumped slightly, not knowing what was happening. When she saw the smoke rising in the sky from the direction of Truce, she ran to the edge of the hill with the others and looked down. Something had ignited in the town.

Immediately, the others were off, plummeting down the hill towards what was surely a dangerous situation. Thinking once again about her decision to go through the portal, she realized this was why she had come. With a nod, she started down the hill after the others. This is it!

Her foot caught a stone about half-way down the hill, tripping her and sending her tumbling the rest of the way. When she reached the bottom, she was dazed and bruised, but otherwise fine. She got up and dusted herself off, trying to remember what it was she was doing… Oh yeah!  She continued towards the village, hoping she would make it in time to help.

By the time Nadia actually made it to the scene, the action had ended. An incapacitated creature – an imp if she wasn’t mistaken – lied in the middle of the street, its body cut in several places and slightly charred from fire. Who could have done that? Nadia looked ahead and saw the young man in the bandana and the others running. Oh.

Nadia didn’t take time to think about what was going on. There would be time for explanations later, she realized. Right now, she had to catch up to the others. What were they following and where were they following it to? So many questions, so few answers. Is this what adventure is: running? She pushed it out of her mind and kept running.

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny

Jonas was moving quickly, the three green imp figures still ahead of him as they passed the last buildings that comprised the outskirts of Truce Village. Jonas was surprised that the Village had remained almost entirely the same size four hundred years later, but he would have to think more on those thoughts later. The road continued on, twisting though rolling meadows as he headed towards Guardia Cathedral, and finally Zenan Bridge. Turning to check Jonas looked behind him, seeing everyone firmly in pursuit, within distance to hear him if he yelled loud enough.
” They're likely heading for the bridge, we have to stop them before they escape to Zenan. ” Jonas yelled, fully realizing that the imps would be able to hear him as well.
Ahead the road began to split, Jonas could see the outline of the Cathedral in the distance. He watched as the Imps turned south, the bridge was not far now. Jonas suspected the Cathedral to be infested with fiends if they had arrived before Crono and company, but he was unsure and the imps had not turned that way, either out of desire to not give away their hideout or simply because it had already be purged by Crono. More to ponder when things had settled down, he thought. As the closed in the sound of ocean waves breaking began to sound in the distance, though softly. Zenan Bridge, he hoped, would have a patrol from the castle.

  The Call of Destiny
At the sight of the fiends fleeing, Peter ran after, both human and rabbit side happy. The cries of those still in the village brought him to his senses. His comrades were giving chase so he would have time here, “I'll catch up.” Parts of the village still remained in fire and only a few cries were left as many had fled the fiends. One house had begun to come apart, a burning beam blocking half off the open doorway. Peter jumped over the beam and rolled into the house. The flames that had licked the bottom of his robes were put out by the roll. The cry was muffled by the sounds of flames, but Peter could tell it was coming from upstairs. His rabbit ears may not work, but his normal ears were slightly heightened.

Peter run up stairs, light of his feet aware of wood breaking under the stress. “Help. I'm in here and stuck.” A young man had his leg trapped under under a burning beam and was screaming for help. He waved his arms as Peter approached to get his attention. With his hood drawn low, Peter ran as fats as he could and began trying to raise the heavy beam. It only moved a little, mage's weren't known for physical strength, “Lift if you can and move as soon as you can.” Peter spoke in a deeper voice to disguise himself. The man nodded in terror as he lifted and finally got his leg out, though he sagged useless. Peter knelt down and spread a concentrated aura around the area. The leg was still only half functional, but the burns looked better and the man seemed to show less pain.

Peter put the man's arm around his shoulder and lifted him up. A gasp of pain from the man, but he continued to try and limped with Peter. The flames got louder as they consumed the house around them. Peter wished he could speed the man out of the house, but he had to go at the pace the man could sustain. Going down the stairs was a challenge. There was just enough room for two people, but the strain of two people worried Peter. The wood creaked loudly with each step, but it it held until the third step. The man's good foot sent through the door and all his weight was on Peter. With a groan, he lifted the man until he could put his foot on the next step and finally on the first floor.

The beam blocking the door was a real issue as the young man had not chance of going through. Peter leaned him against the house and looked at the beam. His mind moved quickly to see a solution. He back up a few feet then ran forward, jumping with his foot leading. The beam feel over from the kick, no longer blocking the doorway. “Quickly, the fire's coming.” The man cried in panic, just wanting to be safe and not appreciating what Peter was doing. Peter shook it off knowing fear conquers all other emotions. He moved quickly the grab the young man and walked into over to a house a few houses away from the fire, “You'll be safe here. That leg will heal quickly.” Peter made sure when he faced the man his hood covered his features.

The fires still blazed and left no silence in the area. A few houses would need to be rebuilt, but the town would be fine. The young girl he had seen earlier looked terrified, but was surrounded by two adults, one male one female probably he parents. She held her leg, but signs of a burn could be seen afterwards. Knowing the young man was safe he ran over to the girl. Trauma at a young age was hard to deal with. “Let me help. Please stand back and give some space.” Still using a different voice, the parents moved back. Peter knelt in front of the girl and examined the wound. A minor burn, but children didn't know the different. “It's gonna be fine.” Peter used his normal voice with the parents out of range the heal. A green aura spread over the wound as Peter extended his arms. The aura healed the minor would entirely, but the girl still shook. Peter moved his right hand to touch the bottom of her chin her eyes met his eyes. It took a moment, but the girl smiled at seeing what she thought was the grand wizard Peter. His put one finger from his left hand to his mouth with a quiet, “Shh.” The girl nodded in understanding, “Be strong and others will always be there to help. With friends, there is nothing to fear.” Peter smiled, winked, and patted her on the shoulder. Her shaking stopped. Putting his hood over his face, he stood and faced the parents, “She'll be okay. Get out of her as fast as you can, but, sir, would you mind helping the man there. He's legs still healing.” The father nodded and Peter ran off to meet up with his comrades.

Just a heads up, everyone in the thread can technically not read this post. Peter wouldn't chase the enemies out of his town without making sure the people were safe. Plus, he knew you guys were chasing so it wasn't necessary. I did make it quite long so that's why I'm informing you guys of that.

  The Call of Destiny

With the efforts of each member of the group, the imp eventually fell to the floor, defeated. The remaining monsters realised they were outnumbered and overwhelmed, and chose to fled the scene. Everybody else seemed to give chase and it was not for Lena to give up on a fight. She allowed the others to lead the way as she followed closely behind, the hood from her head falling to her shoulders.
Coming to a split in the path, Lena could see the large cathedral down one of the routes. She did not recognise it and wondered what had happened to it between this time and the time that she had came from. Jonas called out to try and reach them before they got to the bridge to Zenan. The imps were not that far ahead but were surprisingly fast for such fat, little creatures. Her crossbow did not seem to cause any damage but perhaps it could be enough to trip or slow one of the imps. She pulled out her crossbow, still running at a full sprint, and tried her best to focus and aim. When she found her target, she stopped abruptly and steadied her weapon, firing a perfect shot, aiming for the legs in order to cause the imp to stumble. The bolt was a perfect hit and the imp did indeed fall over to the ground.

  The Call of Destiny
Heart pounding and nearly out of breath, Nadia continued to race through the streets of Old Truce after the young man in the bandana. He was a little further ahead, followed by the others who had traversed time. They twisted and turned through the town in what seemed like a pursuit. But what they were after she could not say.

At last, they reached the outskirts of the town and were on the road leading to the Guardia Cathedral. The path was straighter here, so she was able to see what lied ahead. In the distance, she saw their targets. A couple more imps had retreated from the town. Okay. We’re chasing them back to their nest. Because that’s a great idea… A moment later, the young man in the bandana turned and shouted that they needed to cut off the imps at the bridge. I guess so…

Her chest was sore from the heavy breathing. She hadn’t run like this since she was a child. Guarding a castle generally didn’t involve much movement. Sometimes, it didn’t even involve paying attention. On more than one occasion, she had actually been able to catch a few moments of sleep, not having to worry that anything was going to happen. Not that she’d ever tell her captain of such things…

The Cathedral’s outline on the horizon came and passed, and she was still running. How much further!? After a bit longer, she was able to find solace in the sound of the ocean creeping over the hills. Thank heavens! With one last boost of speed, she caught up to the young man in the bandana and the others, knowing well that what lied beyond the hillside would be dangerous. And she couldn’t help but smile.

  The Call of Destiny
Soren flashed a devilish smirk as the first imp collapsed, their combined efforts having slain the creature. It was fairly obvious at this point that the monsters were no match for the group, something the monsters appeared to have realized too. Just as he was about to move in upon the nearest beast they fled in terror, and he sighed in exasperation at the sudden turn of events. “They’ve little backbone it would seem,” Soren said, clearly disappointed with how quickly they fled the scene.
One of their group, the mage with the rabbit ears, was quick to offer his aid to the nearby villagers. Initially it was his intention to do the same, but from the look of things the mage had everything under control. Soren slowly turned about before rushing to rejoin the rest of the group. They were quite a ways ahead of him, and even at his fastest pace it wasn’t going to be easy to catch up with them. By the time he had managed to catch up with the others the cathedral had come into view, and the road had forked and the imps took the southern route. Soren could feel fatigue of his exertion start to gnaw at him, but did his best to shake it off. They had almost caught the monsters, and he couldn’t let something so small get in the way of that. “We can't let them get away!”

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny

Jonas' chest was heaving, he realized that he had been running quite a ways and it was taking it's toll on his body. As he crested the final hill the massive bridge came into view, spanning the inlet between Guardia and Zenan continents. He came to a stop and looked down on the bridge, his allies arriving right behind him. Jonas' was breathing heavily as he saw the imps reach the bridge and stop, they were looking up towards the crest. Behind them a cloaked man approached, his hood a dark gray which draped over his entire body. A chill shot up Jonas' spine, but he could not look away.
” What is going on here? ” Jonas muttered, low and mostly to himself but audible enough for the others to hear.
The cloaked man had stopped and appeared to be conversing with the fiends, their gaze and motions pointing towards the crest on which Jonas and the others stood. His chest still heaving Jonas turned to the others, his face showing concern, but inquisitive.
” What do you think? ” He asked, not ready to boldly launch himself at the unknown threat below, hoping that his allies would make that decision for him.

  The Call of Destiny
Peter ran with all his might after his allies. He had fallen behind due to helping his town, but it was worth it. Those in direct damage were more important to him. Peter just hoped that the girl would be quiet about his identity, but either way it had to be done. Each step caused his anxiety to go away, the rabbit allowing him to enjoy the open run. Sweat accumulated on his face and Peter took his hood off, no one was around to see him.

Peter saw in the distance his allies gathered. They stood staring over at the fiends that had been chasing. Peter ran even faster, thinking they would attack soon. A cold wall of air hit Peter as he got close, stopping him in his tracks. The chill was familiar, but he had never put an entity to it before. Peter stood near Jonas and looked over at the robed figure,
“If there's going to be conflict, we should start it, but he may not do so.” Peter looked over and wondered if this was who he had been fighting against for so many years.

  The Call of Destiny
Soren was dripping with sweat to the point where his crimson hair was sticking to his skin. As a stray bead of sweat dribbled down his brow he reached up with a gloved hand and wiped it away. After that he brought his left hand down to his knee for support and hunched over, trying to catch his breath. Soren was exhausted after his efforts to rejoin the group, and this brief respite was likely all he would get.
A cloaked figure had approached the fiends; a chill shot down Soren’s spine, but he barely even acknowledged it. Jonas had muttered something under his breath, but Soren hadn’t quite caught it. From the look of the things the fiends appeared to be offering an explanation to the cloaked figure, as if they were under his command. “I think that man is the one responsible for the attack upon the village,” Soren declared as he stood up straight, and pulled his sweat-dampened hair back and out of his sight. ”which makes him the enemy.”
Soren started out slow, simply walking down the hill toward the fiends, but with every step his pace quickened until he was running straight at them. With every step his body cried out in fatigue, but he pressed on without hesitation, his only thought that those before him were responsible for harming innocent lives. “Prepare yourselves!” Soren declared as he sprinted toward the enemy group, his weapon held low and trailing behind him in preparation for the opening attack.

  The Call of Destiny
As Nadia caught her breath, she looked down at the enormous bridge. Despite having seen it on more than one occasion, she couldn't help but feel a bit awe-stricken. The structure’s existence was a reminder of how far men had come and a testament to their ability as a race. She shook the thought out of her mind. There were far more pressing matters at hand.

When the imps arrived at the bridge, she realized that there were no patrols present. Not a good first sign. A few moments later, something else happened: mysterious figure stepped out ahead of the imps, his appearance shrouded by a dark grey cloak. Still yet, he was menacing, the mere sight of him sending a wave of unease over the party. The man with the katana announced his suspicion that the cloaked figure was commanding the imps, a thought they no doubt they all shared. Then the fiends began to point up at the crest, noting the party’s pursuit to the figure. And now he knows we’re here. Great.

After the young man in the bandana called for a plan of action, she became nervous, realizing that her first real battle may be just around the corner. She tried to put it out of her mind. This was what she signed up for after all. “We need to figure out what this all about. And it’s not like they don’t know we’re here.” The man with the katana apparently agreed, starting down the hill quickly after. He went slowly at first, but gained speed with every consecutive step, yelling as went. With a nod, she sprinted down after him, more careful with her footing this time around. As she closed in on the enemy, she drew her sword, ready to strike.

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny

Jonas was taken aback by the simplicity of Soren's remarks, knowing him as anything but rash in judgement. Clearly he was protective of his home, be it in his own time or four hundred years in the past. There was no time to dwell on the issue now, Jonas would go with his friend into battle, hoping that the others would follow.
” Looks like we're starting it, he's right though so lets go find out what we want to know. ” Jonas replied to the others as he watched Soren dashing down the hill towards the bridge, the imps, and the mysterious cloaked figure.
pulling his blade from it's scabbard that was firmly harnessed to his back Jonas shrugged to the others as he started down the hill behind Soren. Kicking up dust as he ran Jonas reached Soren and the foot of the rise quickly, bridge now just a few meters ahead. Slowing he came to a stop, his eyes shifting to the imps and then to the cloaked figure, the face still hidden. The imps moved behind the figure, waved them back.
” Fleeing isn't going to be that easy! ” Jonas shouted at the invaders, taking a step forward.
The figured waved again, and the imps turned to cross the bridge. Jonas took another step but stopped as the cloaked figure raised a gloved hand, waving it across the air in front of him before he turned and followed the imps. Jonas started to moved when he heard the sound, a low rumble and crackle from below the bridge. Frozen he watched as if pulled by invisible strings a slew of bones, large and small, were pulled up the slope that led to the sea below. Animated the bones made the most unnatural sound Jonas had ever heard, as the cobbled together growing higher with ever passing second.

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny
The unnatural conglomeration of bone gew taller, towering over the party. As the final peice took place the undead creature stood twelve feet tall, it's body was massive and wide. Atop the sholders the skull of a cyclops rested, an eerie glow iminating from it's single eye socket. The jangle of bone clacking against bone sounded as it moved, the first massive step forward sending a rumble though the bridge. It moved slow, but that would be the only advantage the party had.

  The Call of Destiny
As the party closed in upon the mysterious figure waved the imps away, and they moved behind him. Once again he waved a hand and the imps turned toward the bridge and started to make their way across it. Before they could move to stop the fiends the cloaked figure lifted a hand into the air, waving it about strangely for a moment and then he also went to cross the bridge. “You’re not getting–!” Soren started to yell—ready to continue the chase—but was interrupted by a loud, crackling rumble coming from below the bridge.
Soren was left in a state of total shock as the source of the noise came into view; a massive flurry of bones, twisting about as if being manipulated by some invisible puppeteer. As they were dragged up the slope the animated bones made one of the most horrifying and unnatural sounds imaginable. Soon enough the bones began to take form, cobbling together with the noise of bone grinding against bone. When the last piece, the skeleton’s cyclopean skull, took place the amalgamation loomed ominously over the party. Its lone eye socket glowed with an eerie light, and its footsteps were enough to shake the bridge.
As it slowly made way toward them Soren finally managed to shake off his shock at the sudden turn of events, and prepared to engage the colossus. “Jonas!” Soren called out to his friend, hoping to help him regain his senses. “Move to the right, we’ll combine our efforts!” After that he dashed toward the left, his weapon resting upon his right shoulder while he moved into position. Once he was in place he made sure that Jonas was as well, before rushing toward the gargantuan skeleton.
In a sudden motion he swung his left hand out, flicking his wrist and snapping his fingers as he did so. It was almost as if a massive weight was forced upon the giant skeleton, pulling its torso toward the ground and leaving it vulnerable to attack. Soren jumped into the air as he closed in upon the colossus and swung at its neck with all of his might, holding the weapon with both hands to strengthen the cut. Though he couldn’t see him, he instinctively knew that Jonas had played his part in the attack as well. Once his feet were safely upon the ground again he took several steps before turning about, hoping his and Jonas’ combined attack had some kind of impact.

Peter watched as the hooded figure ran, that aura kept his attention squarely there, but even though he wanted to pursue the skeleton made it all the harder. In his weakened state, even with the help of the gun he couldn't do much damage until he got attack spells. The skeleton intrigued the rabbit mage somewhat. With the look of an undead, he might just take damage to healing spells, should they be casted properly.

Extending his hand like the hooded figure, a green aura arose over his hand.
“Aura of the healing aspect, heal this monster back to dead.” The aura change suddenly and violently. His swirled around his hand fiercely before disappearing. The aura reappeared around the skeleton's left shoulder, swirling faster than around Peter's hand. Peter's eyes darted towards where the hooden figure had ran. Was it him?

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny

The battle had begun, the gigantic animated skeleton towering over Jonas and the others. He gazed up as Zombor lurched forward slowly his eyes scanning the girth of the creature, his mind racing to put together a plan of action. Unsurprised he was drawn back as Soren spoke and before he could comment began to execute the attack. Jonas nodded, moving into position before bursting towards the creature narrowly passing Soren as their blades struck the colossus' upper body, the hardness of the bone sending vibrations down his blade.
” Damn this thing is big, how are we suppose to fight it!? ” Jonas rambled off as he turned to face the creature again, his hands both grasping the hilt of his iron blade.
Knowing that they only way they would survive this battle was to use their speed to attack as much as possible and at all costs avoid the skeleton's own attacks. Moving swiftly he crossed the colossus, moving just feet from it's legs as he moved to the right. He spotted Peter's attack on the creature's right arm and understood. Twisting as he leaped up, kicking off the creatures massive thigh bone to gain more height before slashing across the same arm.

  The Call of Destiny
As Nadia and her companions rushed towards the oncoming battle, she couldn't help but have high spirits. Despite not knowing the true nature of the robed figure, the party seemed to have the upper hand. After all, there were only a couple of imps. Even an unproven warrior like herself should have no trouble against such lesser fiends; with the party's combined strength, they would be able to defeat an entire army of them if they had to.

Her cocksure attitude didn't last long however. With a quick wave of its hand, the mysterious figure stopped the party in its tracks. A low rumble resounded from below the bridge, followed by the clattering of… Bones…? Hundreds of them floated their way to the top of the bridge, collecting themselves into a gargantuan skeletal monster, a creature unlike anything she had ever seen, a single eye fixed in its skull. Equal parts horrified and in awe, Nadia watched as the creature lumbered towards the party, slowly but surely, the incessant sound of clattering bones accompanying each step.

After a moment, the battle began. The young man with the bandana and the man wielding the katana acknowledged each other's positions and committed a joint attack against the creature's upper body. Next, the fellow with the rabbit ears and the young man in the bandana launched singular attacks against the creature's arm. “Those two have the right idea! Let's disarm it first!” she yelled. Pushing past her fears and insecurities, she sprinted towards the creature's right arm, cutting at the bone. Alas, the attack did not do much. Whether it was her sword or her lack of experience, she did not know. What she did know, however, was that they were going to need more than just her help to bring the giant down.

  The Call of Destiny

Demitri was one of those people that seemed to have a knack for blending into crowds and enviroments alike. He supposed that meant he was an unassuming person for the most part, but whatever the reason may be he'd often show up with people without them even realizing he'd been tagging along. It was much the same in this situation; Demitri intentionally held himself towards the back of the group as they gave chase, and he was one of the last to finally come to the crest that overlooked the bridge.

The reason he held himself back wasn't because of any fear or laziness, but instead one of strategy (or that's what he told himself, anyway). A young inventor wasn't exactly the type of person that should be at the forefront of a combat line, and Demitri's own talents were better suited where he could analyze the situation before rushing into action. He had finite resources at his dispoal, after all, because he was fairly sure the gun he had was outliving it's usefulness – he'd have to depend on his fiery inventions should the situation go south.

And south things went. The man named Soren rushed ahead to deal with the imps and this new hooded figure that had appeared. It wasn't what Demitri would have called the most tactically sound decision in the world, but if that sword Soren wielded was any indication of his combat prowess, then he could probably handle himself just fine. Jonas and the others continued after him, along with Demitri tailing at the back. This positioning would prove advantageous to Demitri in the next few moments, as the ground rumbled beneath his feet as a truly heinous creature was summoned in front of him. Bones of who knows how many dead creatures cobbled together into a beastly form, with a cyclops skull resting at the top.

Demitri couldn't help it. His eyes widened at the sight, and his brow furroed as he contemplated how to deal with this thing. “What in the hell is that!?” Could you even burn bone? Even as his legs carried him closer and closer to the beast, his mind was still debateful of the possible was to approach this and the potential outcomes. His companions, however, held no such reservations and immediately began to assault the massive creature's right arm. This was as good of a strategy as any, he supposed – the more they focused a single body part at a time the faster they'd be able to destroy said body part and move on to another.

As a handful of Demitri's companions attacked the creature themselves, Demitri sprinted in behind them and readied an attack of his own. His hand grew warmer and warmer as his guantlet worked it's magic, drawing the energy out of the air arround him and building a raging ball of fire. Demitri waited longer than he normally would have, and then hurled the blazing fury towards the creature's right arm. The fireball exploded on impact, creating an even bigger explosion than Demitri had expected.

Chapter I ~ The Call of Destiny
The creature seemed unphased by the successive attacks placed upon it—it simply moved forward. It was impossible to read any emotion from the colossus, the hulking golem likely had none, it's existence was to serve as a tool and nothing more. The Zombor lumbered forward as the swarm of fighters attacked around it. Settling the creature reared back, the unnatural rattle of bone on bone growing as the creature raised it's massive fists high above it's own towering head. Building force the colossus pulled it's hulking arms down smashing it with great force into the ground next to Nadia—just missing— and Peter who was sent crashing backwards by the powerful blow.

Attack on Nadia was dodged; Peter takes 28 Damage.
