An organization is a group of people with a common goal. Here, we divide them into their general alignment: Light, Neutral, and Dark. They work together towards a common goal usually led by that characteristic. They support each other and can accomplish things much grander than alone.
Organization Missions.
Once a chosen has joined an organization, they can partake in missions for the organization alone or with other members. These missions are run like quests, guided by a DM, but are more difficult and failure is much more likely. As such, the rewards from missions are generally higher than quests and tasks.
Mission Failure.
When accepting a battle mission, it is important to gather a good party as it is possible to be defeated. Defeat for a chosen means only receiving 50% of their words, but they will not die. Defeat for an organization could mean a variety of things depending on the mission.
Organization Tokens.
Tokens are the currency organizations use to reward chosen for quests and missions and can be traded in to their store for various items. Each organization has a different store so it may be worth while to get in good with as many as you can.
Some chosen will help out an organization and get tokens without joining them. They are able to use their tokens in the store of that organization, but with a 25% boost to the cost. Getting items from stores with ranks that require a higher level than the chosen have a 25% additional boost for each rank higher than the chosen.

Light Organization
The Resistance
Formed by Leon, the Resistance is a group of people who come from planet’s destroyed by the heartless. They are stationed in Traverse Town where they are brought by either Mickey’s Army or stray portals of darkness. There main objective is destruction of heartless.
After their planet was taken by the heartless, Leon, Cid, Yuffie, and Aerith awakened to find themselves in Traverse Town due to stray dark portals created by the heartless. Without a way to fight the heartless, the refugees did their best to help others affected by the heartless to start a new life. When Yen Sid discovered Heart Attack, Leon began to train all the refugees that wanted vengeance against the heartless. They support Mickey’s Army, but decide their own missions.

Mickey’s Army
Based out of Disney Castle, Mickey’s army is a collection of residents of Disney Castle and those rescued from a planet destroyed by the heartless. Their main objective is rescuing people from the heartless and finding the keyholes for Mickey.
The Army started off with three people, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Not wanting to endanger his allies, Mickey would run missions solo and rescue people and bring them to Traverse Town. It was not until Yen Sid discovered Heart Attack that Mickey starting recruiting people. With a way to fight the heartless, they were not left defenseless. Though Mickey still considers all in his army close, personal friends and will do anything to save them. Members are put into the mage division or warrior division for training, but division are intermingled to support each others weaknesses.

Dark Organization
  The heartless seem to act on instinct more than in a specific way. They seek hearts simply to attain more. They "sniff" out the keyholes of planets and corrupt it til the heart is theirs. They are ruthless and are able to corrupt strong evil hearts into generals for lesser heartless.
The heartless seem to have no motive, but totally destruction of all light. In order to do that, they seek out keyholes and strong evil hearts to corrupt. All heartless come from the same collective power that all may access. Their base of operation is Hollow Bastion, but none feel powerful enough to attack such a stronghold. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and strongest heartless ever "born", leads the heartless as one of them seeking what they seem as well.
